It is not a very huge mosque; I would say there are 80-100 people on Friday prayers. The congregation is very diverse-about half are Arab professionals, and the rest are converts, Bengali gas station people, students, etc. It is kept extremely clean and well-organized. If you are late for prayers at the other mosque in Boca, you can probably be on time here. The khutba (sermon) starts around 1:20ish, and the prayers start around 1:50/2:00 pm (update: as of 10/09/2015, Juma is from 1:15 to 1:45 to accomodate working people). Both men and women pray in one enormous hall (the women are not in a separate room like in many other mosques). After prayers, falafel and snacks are sold in the dining area. For Maghrib (evening prayers), there are generally very few people (like 5), and sometimes the mosque is even closed at that time. I would say that this mosque is quite welcoming; it is more of a moderate mosque. For example, they have a hamper with skirts and scarves at the entrance in case women want to borrow them at prayers (most mosques would discourage women from showing up at the mosque without their proper attire in the first place). Some of my superconservative Pakistani friends were kind of taken aback by praying in the same room as men, but if you are not bothered by that, it is a nice mosque to check out.

Growing up my parents would take us to Friday prayers or Ramadan prayers etc. At home my mom would pray a lot more than my dad. Recently my dad started praying much more regularly. That encouraged me to pray more often and go to Friday prayer whenever I do not have work. Friday prayer is considered the most important prayer of the week for Muslims. The imam speaks a khutbah as well on a wide range of topics. The mosque is located in Margate and has been open since 2005. If your not a Muslim and have questions about this religion, don't hesitate to come and speak to anyone here. Believe me I'm not trying to convert you but considering some questions about this religion have increased. Before you judge others know what this religion is about. Whenever I have gone here, they are super friendly and say hi as soon as you enter. I encourage those who are not very religious or spiritual etc to find ways what work for you to meditate and seek peace in your lives.~

Disclaimer - This has nothing to do with the temple and its proceedings…read more.. There is a kitchen inside temple premises that they sell food out of on weekends... I was there today (after over 2 months) and they have jacked up all their prices and also forcibly adding over 10% gratuity. I don't know what their set up is and who the proceeds benefit but food for 3 used to be under 40$ which now is over 50$ plus (which is 20% jump) plus forced gratuity... Only good thing I experienced was that the wait this time was not long but may be the jump in prices and mandatory gratuity is the reason of less people there and therefore I got my food quickly.
