It makes for a beautiful setting with Basilica Palladio as your backdrop. The host is very warm and welcoming. The menu has English descriptions We ordered: Ravioli con fiori di zucchini, stracciatella e pomodorini: It was delicious and they divided into 2 plates as our appetizer. All ingredients fresh and soft bread to clean it all up in the end. Costolette di Agnello con verdure di stagione: These lamb pops were thick and juicy with a very tasty crumb and herb crust. Amazing flavor combinations, bravo. Guancette di Maiale Brasate e pure di patate: Braised pork cheeks with mashed potatoes This was a very flavorful dish as well! The meat just falls apart and when combined with some of the potatoes makes for a delicious mouthful! Finished off with a Tiramisu Everything we tried was perfect. We gave 4 stars due to our server being worth about 2 stars. He was obviously treating us poorly and ignoring us due to the fact that we are Americans. Acting very distant and not helpful. He was very polite and helpful to the Italian families around us. He took their orders before ours, when they sat much later than us and he was very short when dealing with our table. He never checked on our table and we had to order dessert from the busboy. The rest of the serving staff was delightful.

Easy to make same day reservations especially during the weekdays, service was excellent, I prefer to dine inside but as the weather gets warmer they tend to sit you outside and that can be uncomfortable depending the temperature.

My colleague and I arrived to an empty restaurant at about 2030 (8:30pm) and was warmly invited and quickly seated. Despite our lack of any Italian, our server and proprietor were able to make great recommendations in wine and cuisine. Appetizers, main entrée were outstanding - pasta, seafood. I do not remember what I had for dinner, but do remember they were all outstanding and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was classy, the décor awesome - what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. Cost? Relatively affordable, actually cheaper than what you would expect to pay if back in the states. As we were getting ready to leave at about 2200 (10pm), more people were in the restaurant enjoying the cuisine. For a great Italian cuisine, definitely visit.

Ambiance is warm, cozy and elegant at the same time, without overdoing it. Food is made to order so take into account a short wait. Great wine cellar (great red and white wines are produced in this North-Western part of Italy). I had polenta in a bed of melted Asiago cheese and porcini. Sublime. Nirvana reached with fresh made bigoli (homemade fresh pasta typical of Veneto region) with porcini mushrooms and duck ragout. Strongly recommended if you happen to be in this area. Prices adequate to quality. Love you little horse (Cavallino's meaning).
