We were looking for a place in the surroundings of Vicenza to taste some baccalà and we chose La Marescialla since it is one of the members of "confraternita del baccalà" a group of restaurants dedicated to keeping alive the centuries old tradition of baccalà dishes in the region. Going to La Marescialla we have found out that its cuisine is excellent in its entirety - and of course the baccalà mantecato was fabulous. The risotto with its unusual blending of radicchio, gamberi and gorgonzola is a masterpiece of equilibrium and taste. The desserts were delicious.
