The first time we went there for my mother-in-law we thought it would be something different. The…read moreprice wasn't bad at all however what made the first time bad was after the taxes were submitted we received a letter from the IRS that the taxes were done wrong and papers were missing. We called the office to no avail and were left to settle the issue with the IRS ourselves. I helped my mother fixed her papers and after about 2-3 weeks is when she answered the phone for us to come in to fix it. When she fixed it the paper where she messed up on two lines and was very "o well I don't know what it matters to them about it". And then adds another 5 pages and tax form that we were missing. Once completed she tosses us the envelope and tells us we have to mail it in. We were upset but thought we can give her a second chance. Today we had an appointment with her again. We showed up on time and saw another person there. We asked who the second person was and we were told that she was an "assistant". We sat down and were concerned when we heard her that she didn't know what was going on with another person's taxes papers and was pulling up the information IN FRONT OF US on a separate computer. Once she finished that she came to us and gave our papers to the "assistant" who made copies of them. She stayed in the room with us while Tina was doing the paperwork. The "assistant" was just sitting in the room looking at her phone. When our address was brought up my mother-in-law caught her looking up our address. My mother-in-law felt really uncomfortable with the "assistant" that she asked me to inform Tina that we felt uncomfortable with her there since we didn't have anyone there last time. So I asked Tina "Tina excuse me Tina my mother doesn't feel comfortable with your 'assistant' in the room. Can she please leave the room?". Upon that request Tina exploded on us tell us that she hired her assistant and how if we can't trust her assistant we can't trust her. And then tells us how she is refusing to file our taxes because of this. My mother-in-law told her no you have to finish my taxes since your working on it and I am paying for this service. In which we were told no she is refusing service to us and for us to leave. Unprofessionally gives our papers back. I reach for a copy of a copy of my mother-in-law's id and insurance card which got snatched out of my hand. And Tina telling her "assistant" to shred the papers and storms out of the room. We got our things together when my mother-in-law told me she heard Tina say go to hell under her breath. I told my mother-in-law she isn't worth getting into a fight over and we left the office. In all honesty everyone has their own life experiences and not everyone has the same experience. In this case taxes our being filed. Your social is on the screen, your information is on the screen. It is understandable for one to be uncomfortable to have someone that you have never met previously or know at all to be in the room with the tax preparer. If your are an assistant shouldn't you being doing your work not staring at your phone looking up information. Not to mention your sitting literally less that 4ft from the desk in which the taxes are being done. If your customer is uncomfortable with this and makes a respectful and polite request for the person to leave the room. There is no reason to behave so unprofessionally, and angry with your customers over this. It took us back and offended us. 1. We are giving your our business and treating you with respect. 2. There is no reason to be angry at people for making a polite request. 3. Even if you are having a bad day ultimately this is your business not ours. Therefore your professionalism and work would speak for you. This is one of the most horrible experience we have ever had with our taxes! To yell at your clients, pull other client's information and express you do not know what is going or what the issue is is deeply concerning. I RECOMMEND NO ONE TO COME HERE, NO PROFESSIONALISM AND RECKLESS.
