I visited here for the first time on 05/17/25. Hence the name , this store is packed with Alabama related items. I enjoyed browsing around this well organized store. I saw a lot of cute stuff. Prices varied. I am a sucker for a koozie and a coffee mug! Sooooo of course, I had to have the Birmingham koozie and coffee mug! Felt like a true tourist in my own city. It was GREAT!!! Honestly, I am surprised that I have never reviewed this place before. Every time that I find myself in the Birmingham, Alabama area, I stop at this particular store. The staff is friendly and attentive and only add to my overall experience. They have a fun selection of Alabama centric goods. I usually come here for food stuff like Alabama white sauce, but I have also purchased a few T-shirts from here. Prices are not bad. Some things are a bit high, but it is what it is. I think the last T-shirt that I bought here was about twenty-five dollars. By the way, it is a great T-shirt that says "It's Nice to Have You in Birmingham." We ordered Joyce's cheese straws last week. Actually 6 containers, when they arrived they were all damaged and in crumbs. Reached out and was basically told .... Sorry Sh..happens. So after spending over 100 dollars they couldn't care less. Pretty much told us to eat the crumbs. Sent pics and asked for help... but again it was just too bad! Very disappointing. Definitely would not recommend this shop. Especially if you want to have anything shipped! read more

I received a gift card for this store recently. I was happy to see they had a website where I could order so I did my shopping there. This store has a location in Homewood as well as Huntsville. Their items come from small businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the state of Alabama. It's a nice place to pick up goods that represent this state. With the gift card, I was able to get some of my Christmas shopping done. I loved the option of being able to pick up my items in the Homewood store. I have been in Alabama Goods many times, but a few days ago I was in need of several unique gifts for friends and relatives for Christmas, and the staff greeted me with happy attitudes and helped me pick out gifts for everyone on my list, guys included (we all know how hard it is to shop for the guys in our lives). This is a great store to find someone that truly unique Alabama gift. If you are in search for something in that category and not sure what to get, this is your best stop in town. I am personally fascinated by all of the jams, sauces, snack, and other goods that are produced right here in Alabama. Always great for an inexpensive care package to let someone know about the great state you are from. There are some other cool crafty items in there too. Alabama shaped things, AU and UA inspired pieces, and all the way to your basic post-card. Also a great spot to take out of town guests. A very nice boutique that has recently expanded its space and added new vendors. The gifts range from clothing to handmade soaps to honey and hot sauce. There's something for everyone. I was also happy to pick up McEwen and Sons grits, very convenient to find in the food section at the back. I'm surprised someone commented they were disappointed not to find shot glasses..that's something I expect to see at an airport store and am glad this store doesn't waste its space. Very neat selection of Alabama made goods. They had a little bit of everything and a large section of bbq sauces and such. I wasn't looking for anything in particular but it was nice just to browse and make a mental wish list for a future visit. This is a good place to buy a housewarming gift or maybe a baby shower item. This is my new favorite store! The ladies that work in there are so kind and helpful. After finding out that I moved here 3 months ago, they were just so delightfully welcoming!
