I'm not sure why I don't come here more, but it was the perfect place to pick up some items for a toy drive I'm supporting today. They have toys associated with brands I'm familiar with so I think the kids will like them. They had everything from dolls, board games, balls, remote control toys, and a lot more. I have been to many discount stores in my time. But I have to admit, that this was my first time at 5 below. I wanted to go because my twins were turning 5. And since brand names/electronics/anything too expensive are not on their radar, we wanted to just get them a bunch of stuff we knew they would like at a reasonable price. Overall, I was very impressed by my first 5 Below experience. Everything was really clean, very well organized and a good step up in quality for the dollar stores (obviously for good reason). The staff was really friendly and I ended up walking out with 12 items for less than 60 buck including tax. Can't beat that. As for the products, again, it was for five year olds. They absolutely loved some stuff but weren't super impressed with others. That is to be expected. I look forward to many more trips here in the future. I see how most people are complaining about the clutter and such here. They must actually read these reviews cause it was actually very neat and organized when I came here last month or so. They actually have a ton of items here that are really great deals. I didn't really need anything from here in particular, the items here would mostly be impulse buys for me since I'm the type of person that has several of everything and in different colors already. They had a lot of cute T-shirts I was tempted to buy, but my current T-shirt collection is already overwhelming. I do think this is the perfect place for small gifts and children though. So when your child spots that one thing he or she just won't leave the store without, at least it was only $5 or below! read more

I've been sleeping on this place! They have so many items to choose from. The categories range from clothing, per clothing and toys, makeup, room essentials, party supplies, toys, and last but not least candy! Lots of varieties of candy. They have a bin by the checkout counter where you can get 10 pieces for $1. You can choose from all types! Of course this was my daughters favorite part of our shopping experience. Anyone looking for Frozen items they have an entire isle devoted to the cartoon. Let's not forget get the sell t-shirts with different slogans on them. The parking can be hectic on Saturday's as they share a parking lot with other stores. I will definitely make this a monthly one stop shop! read more

I feel like this was my first time coming to this particular location. The layout was slightly different from the other locations I've visited. This store was well stocked and organized nicely. I am a huge fan of their candy section but I immediately noticed that this location did not have as much of the bulk candy. There was however, more variations of candy I hadn't seen before. I love cherry flavored so when I saw the cherry sour punch straws , I had to have them!! I also bought another cherry flavored hard candy - I'm excited to try them both! Five below is a fun store and there's lots to explore on every aisle. Staff here were diligently working but still really friendly and helpful. It's important to note that this location is on the corner entrance in the shopping center across from McDonald's , so it's busy! Parking could be an issue. read more

I've been by the store once and they have a pretty good variety of discount items. Same idea as other discount stores, think Dollar General. They have a pretty good selection of electronics (earbuds, phone chargers, movies and music, etc) as well as household items. Great place to come and pick up wrapping paper, cards, and general party supplies. Also, a great place to pick up little stocking stuffers or gift bag gifts (party novelty gifts). Also, have some clothing, make-up and outdoor activities (balls and games). Store kind of strikes me as a little hit or miss depending on when you catch them related to shipments coming in. I need to stop by occasionally, will update my review after a few additional stops. read more

I started coming to this store regularly a few years ago and what I like about five below is that you can get stuff at a really good price. They have a nice selection of mens shirts, and I even was able to get a phone case at a good price. Not sure if it's because of Christmas or not, but this whole store was an absolute mess. Over half the boxes were ripped open and items strewn across the store. You can see this in my attached pictures. It was so bad I had to buy a ripped open item at full price, the other items I wanted were broken so I had to buy them elsewhere. Hopefully this was a one time thing, but the whole experience was trashy and seemed reminiscent of a trailer park gas station. Honestly deserves 1 star, but I'll give them an extra star since it's Christmas time. Merry Christmas. read more

Five Below is goofy stocking stuffer headquarters. I've found all kinds of silly things to put in my son's stocking to make him laugh. From weird board games, pranks, jokes, slime and so on. You can also find nostalgia candy. Can't like Mary Janes and various flavors of Big League Chew. Everything in the store is $5 or less. There are some great values some not so good value and some complete garbage just like with any other retailer. I found some cute little ornaments this time around with Peppa Pig and Minions. Those little things are quadruple the price inside the mall. Great bargain. Also found some cute character wrapping paper, cyclops snot, unicorn poop, fairy toots, and some good value cootie board games for my daughter. I will continue to come here for cheap fun stocking stuffers and will look around for the bargains such as the ornaments and wrapping paper this time around. read more

This was my second time coming here and I am not impressed!! I wanted to grab a few last minute Christmas gifts and felt very overwhelmed. My friend had told me she purchased an oil diffuser here recently so I went to look for that item specifically...just to find that only the 4 or 5 left were destroyed and torn open. Not to mention things were stolen from the inside and it was thrown on a shelf with other random items and just looked like a hot mess. Things felt so out of order and too much to look at. Unless you have time to look through unorganized crap and ready to have NO help from the store employees..don't come here to shop! read more

This is actually a really cool store! Dollar Store Prices in a brighter, less Wal-marty atmosphere. There is a large selection of funny t shirts, games, toys, books, electronics, and beauty supplies, all for $5 or less. The staff was friendly and helpful, and several different employees asked me if I needed any help. I grabbed a ton of loot and was super excited when my total was only around $30. I feel like I would have spent at least double that at other stores. This also seems like it would be a great place to purchase stocking stuffers. Go check em out! read more

Great store. First time here. Went to walk off my food from Jubilee Joe's. I absolutely loved this store. Great lil finds for my daughters upcoming 16th bday party. They had some of everything in this store but it sure does add up quickly. I'd definitely go back. We found some great books as well for our new fitness journey we're starting soon. read more

Although I shopped at a different store, I just had to share my enthusiasm about my experience. I was visiting in Huntsville this past weekend and was told I had to go here. I loved the idea of nothing being over $5! The closest one to me would be this store since I reside in Tuscaloosa. I can't wait to visit! Low prices and so much variety! This is my kind of place.
