We can install the lights and the HVAC with it for $20/light and $15/vent" John I hear nothing back that day. I ask the person in the house if the job is done and see that the wire were only hung up. I get back in touch with John and ask what is going on. He informed me that they had some difficulties with the product that I had provided and that he and Tim got into an argument over it. John also informed me that we had a deal and they will get the job done. A week goes by and I don't hear anything back about the job. I get a call today from John stating that the job is done and is looking for payment. I ask him if he could provide me images of the completed job so that I can verify that it was done. The ceiling was hung up. Thank you Tim. The lights and vents were not done as John stated, "we would need a licensed electrician and HVAC professional to do that part." Why wasn't I informed of this before we even started? I have an incomplete job now. This is where I hear the many excuses, guilt trip and long story of how everything went wrong. To top this all of, John admits to threatening the workers, which I believe to be Tim and crew that if they don't finish this job they will not be put on another job. He also mentions that he and whoever was doing the job got into a verbal argument and he did not hear back from them. What should have happened is pre-inspecting the materials job and other conditions before giving a quote and potentially changing materials beforehand. If I knew I wasn't going to get all of this done at once, I wouldn't have even started the job. I give one star back because at least they did something and they gave me $100 back for the unprofessional mess that management stirred up.

Sizemore Concrete Designs was contracted by our pool installation company to complete the pool…read moredeck, coping, and deck drains. Due to changes that occurred during the pool installation process, we also asked them to build a large block retaining wall and also put the foundation for our pool house. We worked directly with Sizemore Concrete during the entire process. Communication, which is greatly lacking these days, was exceptional. My family and myself have had LOTS of concrete work done of the years. Foundations, driveways, etc. Sizemore Concrete's finish work was absolutely perfect in our opinion. They did everything we asked for including performing some additional concrete repairs on our driveway. They worked quickly and efficiently. Overall, we feel like we got an incredible value for the projects we've asked for and they are set to continue on several more. Pricing was more than fair and the quote was easy to read and explained what each cost was for. I also want to add that it has been 3 months since concrete has been poured and the wall constructed. We have had zero issues. We back filled our pool with gravel, at the suggestion of the pool company and Sizemore. We highly recommend Sizemore Concrete Designs!

As I normally do- I always get three quotes then choose the one I feel the best with. Whoever I choose sometimes is the lowest and sometimes not. Andy was the first to answer my call (my cell number is not local and many times gets ignored), he was the first to show up, he walked the property with me- we discussed options and he provided me with a quote. I choose Andy over the others for a few reasons 1.Price 2.Years of experience- the man knows what he is talking about 3.he has all the equipment and doesn't need to contract out to others. We contracted with Joshua Byers, aka J and N Handyman and Maintenance LLC in February to replace…read moreFrench doors with sliding doors at our vacation home in Cedar Bluff, AL. We were pleased with the photos of his craftsmanship until we were in town and on closer inspection realized that Mr. Byers installed doors costing $538 each rather than the $1353.61 each for which he had quoted. Prior to installation, we were clear in our communication with him that we wanted the better quality doors. He responded with a photo of the doors he would be purchasing, and we agreed to the quote based on that quality of doors. We would never agreed to over $3600 for materials for the cheaper doors. We tried to get to the bottom of this with him several times and we received either no response or delays, until he admitted to the cheaper brand doors (but without showing the price). Further, he did not provide paperwork, receipts, or the lifetime warranty provided with the better doors upon request. We are in a bad way, because this is our retirement home and we needed to have a product that was durable and energy saving. We have no proof of purchase or promised lifetime warranty for the existing doors. We will likely have to replace these doors too as they do not appear durable. I would be very leery of hiring this person/company, especially if you are not personally purchasing the material or supervising the work. Our review is showing as from CA, but we are actually in North Georgia.
