Jeremy Horton, the proprietor, was sent to my house by another contractor to undertake widening of…read moremy driveway. Our home has a small built-on garage with a car port adjacent. The car port had a slanted surface, and its offset from the driveway made it tricky to enter. I wished to be able to drive my Forester straight in and straight out. Jeremy and I considered several alternatives and came up with a plan. He dug out the slanted area to level the surface and cut back a small hillside that rose toward my neighbor. To hold the soil in place, he created a pressure-treated wood bulkhead against the hillside to maintain this modification in place. He then planted decorative grasses on the dirt slope to hold the soil together. On the new surface he packed gravel stones in place of concrete, to save on cost. Throughout he was most cheerful and accommodating, explaining everything he did to insure my understanding. I was pleased enough that I later asked him to build a pergola that my wife and I wished to have behind our house, attached to the rear of the garage, to provide a shady place to sit outdoors. Jeremy came up with a plan at a reasonable price, deposited the materials needed within a very few days, and then showed up with a most competent crew to construct this shelter. It was perfect, exactly what we wanted. It is sturdy, attached to the rear of the garage and resting on solid timbers. It has a metal roof and an effective draining system. It can easily withstand a gale force wind. We have furnished the space and are very pleased. Wii Care+ is a most reliable, responsive, and efficient contractor, capable of taking on numerous projects. He is generous with occasional extras and does not rest until his client is fully satisfied. Whatever you'd like to build, ask him to bid on it and he will perform to your complete satisfaction.

He had this job completed in 2 days!! They did such a great job that I was comfortable with them doing work in my own home. In my home they replaced the horrible shag carpet and demoed my tile and replaced it all with engineered hardwood flooring. They also stained my stairs to match the new hardwood floors. They had this job completed in 3 days!! I am in love with the finished product!!!! Daniel is a dream to work with. He is always on time and if he is running a little late he will let you know way in advance. Just to show you what a nice person he is while at my home he noticed my front door handle was installed backwards (my DIY attempt gone wrong. LOL!!) He had one of his workers fix it. I didn't even have to ask him to fix it. Other companies would have seen it and not tell me it was installed wrong, let alone repair it. I would give more stars if I could. I have only used them for my floors, but if I need him for anything else (tile, painting, lighting, kitchen replacement) I will definitely contact Malveira Home Renovation. I can't speak for others who hired Venator to do other types of work which may be totally different…read morethan the work I required. I hired Venator to install a 4" channel drain that was to replace an original 28 year old 1" drain that was no longer adequate to collect heavy rains and move it away from my patio. While Venator's proposal seemed to be promising to provide a much needed improvement, the end results were a big disappointment. A concrete opening had to be cut in order to receive the new Spee-D Channel drain along a 25' section of my concrete patio, but they cut the opening too small. They proceeded to trim the Spee-D Channel on the bottom to make it fit into the undersized opening, which compromised the integrity of the plastic channel and wasted time focusing on the retrofitting process. All they had to do was to cut an additional 2-3" strip from the concrete and the drain would have dropped into place as the instructions suggested. After numerous attempts to inform the owner, who refused to visit the site to inspect the work, he insisted the job was being done by "Industry Standards". His main communication was via Text. I kept him informed of the shoddy workmanship with the hopes he would come by to see for himself. That was not on his agenda, even after expressing my dissatisfaction with the job as it was proceeding. I was not given a dedicated day for the work to be done. It seemed like my job was fitted in after the workers finished on a previous job. The two workers showed up at 6pm on day one and worked until 8:30pm. Not being able to finish, they had to return the next day at 3pm and worked until 8pm. The two worked hard doing their job but it seemed like this was an exploration, not a familiar experience for them. The left photo is what the installation should look like if done correctly and the right photo is what was installed, after having to cut the bottom flange on the channel drain to force it into the opening in the ground. Unfortunately, you never know what results you will get from a vendor until the job is completed. I am sorry I hired Venator for this job and I do not recommend him for this type of work.

Owner never delivered the estimate despite multiple follow ups and more grace than most would offer…read more(4-5 reminders). A costly mistake, not just for this job, but for the tens, if not hundreds of thousands in future work that could have followed. They say 80% of success is simply showing up. Unfortunately, showing up to look at a project means little if you disappear when it's time to follow through. It's hard to succeed at anything in life when you only give 20%.

When Skip replaced my front concrete porch he added some type of colorant which wound up drying to…read morean uneven mess. There was also an area by the front door that was an uneven concrete mess with big gaps between the brick and concrete. He came out to attempt to fix these issues . He advised me that I should just have the concrete painted to cover up the uneven color, which will result in more money out of pocket for me, to cover up shoddy work He claims he "fixed" the uneven area by the door. It now looks worse, with different color, texture and a raised area. I have had painters in to look at painting the concrete. They have expressed concern that the "fix" in the front will likely look worse when painted, much like a big drywall patch would look if not smoothed and sanded. I reached out to Skip about trying to rectify this problem area and he just said "Sorry". Claims he did all could do. I'm now stuck with additional expenditures to attempt to correct a giant eyesore in the middle of my entry
