Bought flooring in June 2013...they installed it, but said we couldn't use traditional transitions from our tile to the new flooring. So instead of these, they used caulking. A few months later, we discovered a long scratch on our "virtually scratch proof" floor. No problem..they came and replaced the scratched pieces. Shortly after, the caulking started peeling up. After several calls and messages that were eventually returned, they came and reapplied the caulking. Shortly after, it started peeling up again. By this time, its January. We called numerous times and left several messages. We even started leaving messages for the "owner". Finally, in May, we finally got in touch with them. They supposedly ordered transitions (which we were told couldn't be used, remember) In August, we finally got someone over to install those. After an entire day at my house, he decided that the tracks that the transitions snap into were wrong, and he had glued them down. Again we called. They sent someone else over to try to do it. He told us that it would work. He would screw all of the tracks down to the concrete and the trim pieces would snap in. When we got home that evening, the first piece we checked was coming up. My husband pulled up on it and it came right up...glue! We checked them all. Some were glued, some were screwed down. 15 months of this crap, and not once did the "owner" get in touch with us, or come to our house to see what the problem was. When I mentioned this to the "owner" on the phone that evening, he screamed at me and told me not to tell him how to run his business. He then slammed the phone down in my ear! We went down to the store immediately. Long story I know, but the guy came back over and finished the tracks...all of them are supposedly screwed down now. However, one piece is already coming up. I think we have basically given up! Do not by flooring here! The "owner" sounds like a used car salesman, and evidently sells lemons! Only gave one star, because you can't give negative ones! read more
