I wanted to write a review of Dr Chris, his colleagues and the amazing AMY, the front desk is a ball of sunshine! I've been going to the Alameda Chiro Center to feel better for over twos years. I highly recommend Stem Wave if you are having any pain or inflammation. I had a series 6-7!sessions and I started to feel better right away. my knee had inflammation. difficulty with bending it and was having inner knee pain. I'm 57 and play competitive tennis and Stem Wave along with monthly adjustments has helped me to continue to be as active and play at the level that I want. If you follow through with the number of sessions they recommend you will get longer lasting results. I went to see Dr Chris Galeotti for a shoulder that would not heal. I wasn't sure what I did to it or how long and could not remember how long I had been dealing with it so I was a bit worried that my lack of information would hurt my chances of healing. Wow! Just realized that I've been going to Dr. Heller for a little over two months and haven't given my thanks! He is a wonderful doctor and frankly, just a really good dude. His assistant and him are so kind and helpful. Clean establishment, I think 80's when I go inside but very cozy and homey. I caught Dr. Heller on his stairs after our appointment watering all his plants (pretty earthy/humble kind of guy). As for my back issues, I've had pain in a section of my vertebrae for years and never did anything to fix it besides yoga. I believe it is due to my lack of discipline for good posture. Quite a bummer but with his help, Dr. Heller has my back very happy these days. After his adjustments my body feels lighter, like everything's just flowing. Now if I would just stick to some of the stretches and neck/shoulder rolls he recommended then I'd be ok. :) No machines used on me here, all hand done and i look forward to the nice warm heating pads they leave on me for a while. sometimes i fall asleep I'm so relaxed. Very cool doctor and always a pleasure to see. tips: ladies, i wouldn't recommend wearing makeup. I go all-natural now because the first time I went i didn't know what to expect. you lie face down on a cushioned table and you place your face into these paper-lined cushion rollers that adjust your body so you spine is leveled. awkward at first but you'll get used to it. anyways, the first time i went all my makeup smeared onto the paper (it was funny, it kinda made a face). Chris Galeotti is a miracle worker! I've had neck pain for three months that has changed my quality of life. I had an x-ray and an MRI with no significant findings. I went to two other chiropractors before seeing Chris and the pain continued after multiple treatments. I saw Chris last week and was sure that I would walk out of there feeling the same as did when I walked in, but to my surprise he fixed me!! I've been a loyal patient of Dr. Heller's for about 10 years. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is the ONLY chiropractor I will see. I've had horse-riding injuries and numerous rear-ending car accidents. It doesn't matter if I need a quick tune-up or intensive care; Dr. Heller is a life-saver. I've been to other chiropractors in the area, and they all were vaguely quack-like (trying to sell me supplements, get extra x-rays, claiming to be able to help with digestion problems, etc.). What I love about Dr. Heller is that he is down-to-earth, no-nonsense, get-the-job-done. All I want is for my back and neck to feel better. I don't want to be in there for three hours, I don't want the doctor pushing me for more and more care when even *I* can tell that I'm pretty much good to go.
