This Father-Son team did a phenomenal job getting sprayed paint and drywall gunk off tile floors, and provided a thorough 2 bd/1ba cleaning. They also brought to my attention some maintenance issues I missed, like a kitchen sink leak! I found pricing can be average to high, it might depend on location; but, I was super impressed with the amount of detail they did in the cleaning job for me. I first hired these gentlemen to do a make-ready cleaning when I moved into a temporary apartment. The Landlord had only done a basic cleaning, and I felt icky living with other people's yuck. They did such a fantastic job that we continued with their services every other week at that property. They are fairly flexible with scheduling when we've had odd issues arise. They also took care to always pay attention to issues (hard water build-up) that annoy me. All I have to do is mention a concern, and I know one or both of the guys will remember to deal with it during every visit. Al and Elijah also cleaned our home for us, which was undergoing a renovation. They cleaned between a few phases and did a stellar job doing a massive clean up when we got ready to sell that home & needed the real estate pictures done. They also did the make ready cleaning and fixed some small items for us that were required as part of the sale. We've since moved to the out of the area & were wary of hiring anyone here. We knew we wouldn't be able to find anyone that we trusted as much. The guys have gone out of their way to drive all the way out here a few times to help with some maintenance items that were bugging me (taking down & patching pesky nails, installing black out curtains, tuning up my very loud garage door, etc.), as well as provide the make-ready cleaning. First time scheduling a cleaning service with this company. I messaged the business thru the "Request A Quote" option on Yelp and the owner Al, got back to me very quickly-the same day! I called him back to schedule in detail. He texted me and we arranged the day for them to come down and do an in person estimate. Al arrived with his son Elijah. It's a 2-man business and they were very professional and polite. I also appreciate them using the disposable shoe covers when waking into our home. They did the quote-said it would take 3 hours and about $300. I was happy to schedule the cleaning date. He emailed me the estimate as requested. The day of the cleaning, they show up on-time and ready to work! It only took them 2 hours, but Al did mention that the work was more then they thought so he asked if it's ok he charge me $350. I said ok since the job was done very well compared to before. They also changed a burned out lightbulb and cleaned the fixture which was appreciated. Later, he emailed me the receipt and it showed the total was $335 plus $15 tax so it added to $350. Do not hesitate to book this dynamic family duo that delivers service with Aloha! I was happy to support this Ohana-based business I was in a pinch and needed cleaning service for my Mom's home. She had been away for months and the place needed heavy duty cleaning. I called about 6 different outfits, but no one could come same day or next day...except for Pono! Most did not even bother to call me back. These guys on the other hand, returned my call promptly. They explained they had an earlier appointment, but would call me in the afternoon in the event they could squeeze me in. True to their word, they returned my call, took the time to come out to take a look, and then offered a quote after assessing the work that was required. They said they could squeeze me in! The pricing on top of the short-notice, I thought was very fair. This is not like most services where they offer you a quote over the phone without ever seeing the place first - these guys come out to assess your needs and offer an estimate based on their assessment. This is important as it prevents disappointing and unexpected upcharges! These guys met all of my needs including cleaning the slats on my french doors, detailing the light fixtures, wiping down the jalousies and window sills, and they even cleaned hard-to-get spots like our wall trims and moldings. This father-son team was incredibly thorough, but more significantly, they treated my Mom's home with care and respect. They were careful with the furnishings and where items needed to be moved, they were very gentle. In other words, they were PONO! They took so much pride in their work and it showed! My mother worked as a Housekeeper in a Waikiki hotel all her life so she knows what clean is! She was very pleased upon returning to her home. AMAZING, AMAZING-simply Amazing! I needed a cleaning service after my tenants moved out so called around different places for quotes. Al was very responsive and got back to me within a day and scheduled a day to see the unit to estimate and clean. He split the cleaning into 2 day as it was a larger unit. He texted me updates and a finish time. Again very responsive. I was in meeting all day and when I finally went to look at unit, it was amazing!!AMAZING!!! His work is very meticulous and thorough. Appliances, AC filters, vent hoods, grease trap, all cleaned! Bathrooms and showers weren't just cleaned but they looked brand new again to the point where they were glistening! Al was recommended by our property manager as he is one of the only cleaners that will come back out to the property if something is not correct or up to standards during the walk through. However, he and his son do the job so well the first time, that there is no need to worry about having to come back out again to fix things. I called Al to inquire about a quote and he came out the very next day to walk around the house to assess the size of the job. He emailed me the quote and we scheduled the job for the following day. Al is great at communicating via email and text. He responds promptly to messages and gets back to you when he says he will. Due to the size of our house, he needed to schedule two days to complete the job. He was very thorough in his cleaning and the house was immaculate by the time he was done. Things looked brand new!
