Amazing CBD store providing consultations right when you walk in for your needs. Went for a foot cream for heel pain and lotion for arthritis and both creams have been working amazingly. The staff both strive for customer service greatness which is what they do and they tell their clients what they're buying is the best! Very friendly and helpful staff with a pretty good selection of products such that if you can't find what you are looking for here then chances are it's not legal in Texas haha! Beyond that, the store is clean and in a good location. Prices are about what you would expect at any other CBD seller as well. All said and done, I plan to go back. My -only- suggestion would be that they could use more options for pets. The highest tincture concentration for pets they have now is 250mg. Beyond that 125mg is the only other option. I'd love options going up to 1,000mg like they have for us humans. I say this as someone who has had a dog in chemo (twice in 4 years). The CBD really does seem to help with his appetite and right now we have to go thru 3 of the 250mg bottles a month to get him a dose that works for him. So I either have to stock up or make frequent trips...not a higher issue but a suggestion. read more

The entire staff of Alamo Botanicals is very helpful and educated about their products. I am hoping more stores will be opening soon. The cost of everything is within reason so you are not going to pay a months salary for a week's worth of relief. Their lotions are awesome. The candy (especially the maple bacon caramels) taste wonderful. I got a great deal on some vaping supplies. They had an order that was packaged wrong by one of their suppliers so most of the stock was exposed to too much heat. This caused some of the vaping cartridges to crystalize and leak. They are still selling the cartridges but at a major discount. This gives the customer a chance to sample several types for a minimal cost. So far I have been using Endurance, Sleep, Relief, and Sex and all of them seem to work. I suffer from anxiety, sleep problems, and bipolar issues. The Sex vape, unfortunately, is not a replacement for Viagra or Cialis and may work better for females having intimacy issues. Endurance does give me energy and keeps me focused. Sleep and Relief both relax me at night when I am having issues sleeping. Highly recommended for persons with these issues. Surprisingly they also have products for pets. I have a 13-year-old miniature poodle that sometimes is a picky eater and for a while was eating and immediately was urinating next to her food and water when she finished. I added 5 drops of the pet formula to her wet food at night and now she lets us know she has to go like she used to when she was younger. She does have thyroid disease and dermatitis which is aggravated by the thyroid. I am tempted to ask if there are any sprays for her skin I can use that contain CBD to help her with the itching. Otherwise, if you are a skeptic you need to at least talk to the staff. They know where to get you started. read more

This is the very first CBD shop I went to when they first started popping up over san antonio. I have always had a good experience here. Everyone is very in the know and willing to help you find exactly the right thing for your needs. They have salves, tinctures, pre-wrapped "cigarettes" as well as actual packs of CBD cigarettes, bath bombs, dog treats, edible gummies. You name it! I regularly buy the salve. Its at a great price point and the scents are awesome. So, I know there are a lot of skeptics on this products and a lot of the benefits are backed up by anything. So all i can do is give you my honest opinion and my own testimonial. I have a bad back like most of america it seems. Most of my pain and tightness comes from my neck. I see a chiropractor once or twice a month. Let me tell you.... I came home on day from work with a humongous headache. No, MIGRAINE. Alllllll stemming from the base of my head and neck. It was debilitatingly painful. I had already taken some ibuprofen and nothing was easing the pain. I took their salve and rubbed it all on my neck and down through my back. Not even 5 minutes later, that awful pain had subsided. It didn't totally vanish, but it totally took the edge off and i was able to think and use my brain again. On a daily basis, I rub some on my neck before i hit the gym in the mornings to help with any inflammation and achenes that made be caused by lifting weights and it seriously does wonders. Initially I was impressed with Alamo Botanicals. I was a repeat customer that purchased oil and topical cream. During my 2nd or 3rd visit I special ordered CBD Freeze. The store was having fulfillment issues and in order to secure what I needed I ordered in advance. Almost four weeks later a message was left for me indicating that my product was ready for pickup by James. I returned the call indicating I would be there over the weekend to pickup my product. When I go to pickup the product I was met with the following: 1) challenge as to whether or not I had ordered the product 2) condescension about the exact name and price of the order (side note, nothing is labeled at the store with prices and the employees tell you the prices upon request) 3) after finding and playing back my message from the owner - I was told my special order was gone. 4) I asked them to call the owner and that request was fulfilled- but as expected no answer 5) an offer of my money back if I could find the price I paid (again, no receipts have ever been provided and prices are not marked) 6) An offer of a substitute cream that did not work from a previous transaction...........Since this industry is new and not 100% resolved in Texas I understand why they make some of their choices. But that does not excuse the following: epic disorganization, poor service, rude employees, fluctuating pricing. Try another shop before this one. read more

I came here to this store in search of alternative pain relief. I did extensive research before going to educate myself about CBD and it's benefits, risks, etc. My husband being ex military was extremely hesitant about any of this and only came to support me since he does understand my struggle with pain and autoimmune disorder. We first love the location. It is in a great location already making you feel like your on the right track. Clean, well arranged, plenty of educational information posted. Although the young man behind the counter seemed like any other cahsier, he was very knowledgeable about what CBD products were beneficial and explained how it worked in and for your body. He asked about my symptoms, pain, other remedies or medicine I use or have tried and made his recommendation accordingly. I must say that made a world of difference for my husband. He didn't feel like we were doing some "shotty, back-alley," kind of deal. We purchased the CBD salve and CBD oil. They even offer military discount!! Thank you for that. The roducts I chose have absolutely no THC and have that clearly marked on the packaging. This also made my husband more comfortable. The salesman/representative took alot of time to talk, explain how the products benefit each symptom, reassured us that there was no THC, and took the time to be sure we were comfortable. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. I have now used the products for the past 2 months and I must say I see a vast difference in my pain control along with my medicine already prescribed. I really like the store. This place was suggested to me by someone I met, to try Alamo Botanicals CBD oil. I was a little skeptical about trying it. To be frank, mainly because of the negative connotations surrounding the plant it comes from, but it seems to have some great benefits that I kept reading about so I decided to give it a try. I'm really glad I did, and really glad I found Alamo Botanicals, because I think their product is high quality - they actually make it themselves. Benefits for me - It calms me down, helps keep my anxiety at bay, helps me focus at work, helps me sleep, etc. but that's just me. Apparently it has a bazillion more benefits including pain management, weight loss and even helps those that suffer from epilepsy and seizures. If you are interested or even just curious, definitely do your research first. I thought the store was great at explaining the uses, benefits, how it affects the human body, etc. - the employees were very knowledgeable. The prices are a little high, but I'm kinda cheap... haha. Well, it's actually priced quite well for the quality of the product and the bottle can last awhile if you are using the amount intended/suggested and not using a bunch extra. They have different doses available, and even sample cups to try. I prefer the oil and dropper, but they have vapes, creams, salves, CBD gummies, etc. They even have a pain patch! I just observed it while in the store - it's not their own brand, another brand they carry... but perhaps they have a pain patch in their own brand too? My husband being a veteran, they offered a nice military discount off of their own products and spoke with him about the benefits for his PTSD. Such an amazing experience. We walked in with a naive mind for CBD, but knew we needed some sort of relief. I suffer from anxiety, sleeplessness, & middle back pain. I am a small business owner and we are an authorized retail location who stocks products from Alamo Botanicals. One of my employees has a teenager who, for years, has suffered with Clinical Depression. After several years of trying this medication and that one, going through the bad side effects, and reactions, they finally discovered one that worked. However, as puberty set in, it stopped working, due to hormornal changes and her child became sad and angry again, wanting to hurt themself. The products are very good. I give it a 5 star for the products. But It's the prices that I give a 3 stars. They went up on some items. I use to go there quite often. I have all the receipts of purchases so I have the proof. I hate that I had to stop going. They increased the prices on medicines I use the most example: 1 gram shape vape cartridge, 1 gram social cartridge, etc.The items have no prices on them. It is so frustrating to fall in love with a shop when it first opens and their first priority is winning the customer's business, but inevitably, the store gets good reviews and they "grow" (the store manager's word). I just think it's a shame that they forget the customers that have been loyal to them from the start. I work for a brick and mortar retail store and know how important it is, in this internet world we live in, to provide consistent customer service and a consistent product. My first impression of this store was actually from the owner's wife who stopped by on her lunch break, but still took the time to educate me on CBD products. It was such a great first impression. I couldn't wait to spread the word about this shop, its staff and the product itself. My last two visits have been less than satisfying. The staff has been unhelpful and all the rules of sale have changed. I am not looking for "special" treatment, but I expect if you treat me special when I come in the first year you are in business, that you treat me the same for the remaining years I purchase from your store. I went from looking forward to going into Alamo Botanicals every month to calling my husband on my way home from my last visit and telling him we will never shop there again.
