So I want to start off by saying Rocks Discount Vitamins totally lives up to its name. It really Rocks. Jerrid at the store works really hard to treat you with respect and has a ton of knowledge. With so many options out there, it's hard to know what's good and what's trash. This place carries only high quality supplements, protein, energy drinks, and meals. Also, on the two most recent occasions there, they were priced below that huge online company we all use that starts with an "A" and rhymes with Glamazon. To me that's huge! I have just recently attempted to try rock discount vitamin stores this year in my experience with my first store and first interactions with both Rock's employees Justice and Jerrid (forgive me, if misspelled) have been providing by far the most opposite interaction I have ever gotten from any nutrition store that I have been to in the San Antonio area. Not only are they recommending the best products and formulas to the fitness goals that I am in pursuit of they also have provided key advice and tips for other fitness related topics such as utilizing the precise scale that measures your body fat, bmi, muscle and other details. They have also mentioned other advice to include with overall eating habits and recommendations for competitive bodybuilding which I am currently starting my journey to seek more into as an amateur. As I learn more and more on my journey I have gained very useful knowledge from these employees with the sense that they actually have a true passion for their customers when they walk through their doors. If you are in their area I highly recommend stopping by getting to know both Justin and Jared and making it a regular visit to not only get quality products but also be a part of something more than just grabbing nutrition supplements. Be prepared for excellent customer service quality interactions and camaraderie during each and every visit. I've always heard about Rocks and I've always been told to stop by.. This morning was my first time being at a location since I felt my financials are falling into place. I was immediately treated by Glen who was very nice introducing himself right away, I immediately felt welcome. I told him what I am looking to do, he was not repetitive like most places who try to sell certain products, he really was processing exactly what I needed from what I explained. He walked by each product & explained thoroughly answered each question with positive tone. I'm not kissing ass, I am just extremely pleased with how my first visit came out. To mention another customer came in with a small issue and not fully invading the privacy I noticed how professional Glen was to handling the minor situation. I assume all of Rocks employees are as awesome as Glen and I definitely recommend visiting this company and support them because I really feel that they are in this to help grow your health. If you are into bodybuilding and sport performance then this is the place for you. They don't have much beyond protein, pre & post workout supplements, which are priced too high. Thought I would give it a try since it is closer to home but they don't have much knowledge about everyday supplements to keep healthy. So I'll drive a little further to Cost Plus Nutrition. At least their people are knowledgeable about a variety of supplements. Even the Vitamin Shoppe has better prices and great sales on the same stuff as this place. read more
