The whole procedure took 20 minutes in and out. I was told that it might hurt the third day afterwards to take Tylenol and ibuprofen if so, and that'll be the worst day did not hurt at all didn't hurt coming out didn't hurt afterwards ever best procedure ever done. We got those replaced with new and even though I had other older fillings she wasn't concerned about them in their current state and therefore didn't try and convince me to get them replaced just because they were older. As a patient it feels good to know you won't be sold a bill of goods with unnecessary procedures. I've worked with two of her hygienists and they were both great. I go in every 3-6 months for cleanings. I see for 2015 she was voted most favorite dentist in Springfield. I'm not surprised. Well deserved.

Yelp came through again!!!…read more Things don't always go as planned while in vacation. Last night while in Lexington, Kentucky at 11:30 pm my boyfriend's crown popped out. I yelped "emergency dental" and saw the post from a patient who had an emergency and was also on vacation. So, while on the road heading to Springfield, at 7:40 this morning we called Dr. Capati's after hours number and told him what happened. He said to call his staff at 8:00 and we did; they were able to squeeze in Stephen at 2:50 pm. The staff texted him a link for dental information (ie name, address, issues, etc) and by the time we arrived, everything was taken care of. He was done within 45 minutes and he said the tooth feels great. He's extremely happy and gives high praise to the staff and doctor.

I have made the call to do annual cleaning but it ended up be another "advanced" cleaning, named as: first time visit cleaning. This cleaning might be needed if you have not do your dental appt for more than 5-10 years, but for most ppl with insurance covered, we do cleaning annually, this advanced check make no sense, especially the dental trying to play the game to not mentioning specifically that they are doing a cleaning that will not be covered by insurance completely. So remember to ask clearly before they give you anything to sign!

When I arrived, I sat for just a few minutes and was greeted by Ari, who was fabulous. She put me at ease right away, because I wasn't sure if I was in the right place for my problem. She assured me I had made the correct call. Ari has a wonderful personality and made me feel comfortable right away. While we were waiting for Dr. Grayem, Sarah popped in to say hello. Sarah took care of me many times in the past year and is a delight. I was very happy to see her. Ari and Sarah were the perfect pair for me to see on Monday. Dr. Grayem came in and was very concerned and tried to help me. When the visit was over Sarah walked me out to the check out and just made me feel so special. What a wonderful experience, when I wasn't feeling well at all! I have never liked going to the dentist, because I have had several terrible experiences. Ive alway had good experience with corley until today when i had to cancel an appt due to being…read moresick with bronchitis. Now im thinking i should have just gone in coughing and sneezing to share with everyone. The phone receptionist was rude from the begining with her tone of voice informing me that I would get a 50.00 charge because i didnt call over the weekend and leave a voice mail or text telling a machine that I was sick and had to cancel my 4:00 appointment for the following monday. This made no sense to me and i questioned why calling when they were closed would have been better than calling in the am the day of. Regardless of the silly policy, she argued with me like I was a child and was doing something wrong and needed reprimanded. Then she said i was yelling at her which was impossible because i had a raw, hoarse voice from coughing all weekend. I work in the medical field and when my patient calls off due to illness, i voice concern for their well being, i do not berate them for not knowing or understanding their policy. She made me feel like I was a child and I do not appreciate that from someone who is the face and voice of a respected practice.
