I called Dr. Grayem's office on Monday morning because I was experiencing mouth and tongue pain. I was able to get an appointment the same day. AWESOME! When I arrived, I sat for just a few minutes and was greeted by Ari, who was fabulous. She put me at ease right away, because I wasn't sure if I was in the right place for my problem. She assured me I had made the correct call. Ari has a wonderful personality and made me feel comfortable right away. While we were waiting for Dr. Grayem, Sarah popped in to say hello. Sarah took care of me many times in the past year and is a delight. I was very happy to see her. Ari and Sarah were the perfect pair for me to see on Monday. Dr. Grayem came in and was very concerned and tried to help me. When the visit was over Sarah walked me out to the check out and just made me feel so special. What a wonderful experience, when I wasn't feeling well at all! I have never liked going to the dentist, because I have had several terrible experiences. Unfortunately, it's time I update my review. I moved to Austin Texas in October and had FIVE cavities they found (the other FOUR he found, I chose not to get filled and my dentist here cannot find the same cavities.. yes he told me I had 9 cavities). One of the cavities that Dr. Grayem filled in October was drilled too far into the tooth and also not cleaned adequately enough and as a result cost me $3600 and a very infected tooth. The tooth required 2 weeks of antibiotic treatment, a root canal and a crown..these performed by a specialist and my new dentist. Both of these have told me these are a result of my previous dental work. Furthermore, I was referred to Dr. Grayem in the first place to fix a complicated root canal that needed to be done on my front right tooth, under a recently placed veneer. While I thought Dr. Grayem had fixed the root canal, I have later come to find out today that his treatment was not adequately sealed and resulted in leaking. I now have to remove my less than 2 year old $3000 veneers removed and have them fully replaced to avoid my two front teeth not matching. Very unfortunate and frustrating. As a result, I have spent over $6600 work of endo work due to Dr. Grayem's inability to correctly diagnose and be detail oriented in his approach. My advice? Get a second opinion. I was told I had 9 cavities and likely had 1 or 2. And his "work" has cost me $6600 in 5 months. Learn from my misfortune! read more

Dentists seem to be a dime a dozen and until you are forced to make a choice its not often you consider other providers. My wife has dental phobias and had a terrible time finding a dentist she was comfortable with. After her excellent feedback on this dentist and a bad experience at my previous provider's office I switched and have never been so happy with my dental appointments. Donna is an amazing hygienist and is always happy to see me. I cant say enough good things about them, just go for yourself and you will not be sorry. read more

I saw Dr. Brace recently. The office made a big show about C19 precautions, so I was surprised and alarmed when Dr. Brace came in without a mask and began poking around in my mouth. I asked if he had forgotten the mask, and he said he didn't want to be "militant about wearing masks." Further, he lied to me and said that he was vaccinated and therefore couldn't "give me anything." At this point in the pandemic, it is not known if vaccinated people can carry and transmit Covid 19. Moreover, there are other diseases like influenza, RSV, and bubonic plague which can be transmitted by breathing into someone's open mouth at a close distance. I've been a patient here for over 10 years, and I have always been happy with the office until now. The rest of the staff were great, and they all wore masks. I think it is important that my dentist let science/reality be his guide and not politics. With great disappointment, I will be taking by teeth elsewhere. read more

They told me I had 13 cavities and it was going to be almost $4,000 to fill all of them. I decided to get second opinions, so I went to two other dentists--one told me I had 2 spots that looked like they could be turning into cavities eventually, and the other told me he saw nothing he would fill anytime soon. Also, the second dentist said that he had two other patients who went to St. Louis County Dental Partnership first and had the exact same thing happen. It could've just been the dentist/hygienist who looked at my teeth, so I don't want to speak poorly of the entire practice, but I definitely will not being going back. read more

I have a sever case of periodontal disease and have been dentist shopping for a YEAR. This place just made my whole week. The dental hygienist made sure I was comfortable, as possible, because of my sensitivity issues. They actually came up with a long term plan for me. Not just telling me they need to pull all my teeth. My first appointment was supposed to be 400$ and they only charged me 80! I have not felt so much comfort in a dentist office until now. I completely recommend this office to anyone and especially for people that have gum disease or bone loss. read more

Great experience! It had been a while since I had been to the dentist - I had a poor experience with a different dentist and was fearful to make a new appointment anywhere afterward. I gave Cindy, the hygienist, the heads up that I had anxiety about dentists and she was incredibly sensitive to my needs. She broke everything down for me, was incredibly diligent and made sure I was comfortable at every step of the appointment. She said if I was ever in pain to speak up and we would stop immediately and talk about what happened and would only move forward once I was ready. She's absolutely phenomenal. The dentist was great too. He kept things simple and broke down exactly how cavities work and what I can do to prevent them. Neither gave me grief for waiting 4 yrs between appointments. I am happy to say I've set up my next 6mo appt and am no longer nervous about the dentist. read more

A year ago my gums had some bleeding and there was a pocket around the gums on a molar. During my 6 month check up my hygienist Donna suggested I waterpik to avoid gum disease. I am happy to report that adding this to my evening bedtime ritual has restored my gums to health. I appreciate the detour from the pain and expense of treatment. I like that this small change on my part was all I needed to do and it worked before it was too late. read more

Dental work is traumatic for me. When I was looking for a Dentist I actually found Dr Graham through Yelp. I was amazed how comfortable I was through the whole process from teeth cleaning to an exam. Ended up having to have a tooth pulled and a crown put in. The place is run very well and the staff seem to really like working there. I would highly recommend St Louis County Dental. If you feel the slightest bit of embarrassment about your teeth go see these folks. I am surprised how good they are at putting people like me at ease. read more

I got tired of my old dentist office in Creve Coeur being so rough and asked around the office. A coworker spoke very highly of Dr. Braces practice in Webster groves. It was like night and day! Very nice and friendly hygienists. Very bad dentists! A tooth perfectly fine hurts now daily. They will try to put fillings everywhere where it's possible!!!! Be aware! I looked for a better dentist with better reviews (you better do the same or will regret it eventually) and end up with a treatment plan WAY less expensive than the one with imaginary cavities and needless filling that this place wanted me to get. And they would say that the tooth that actually bothered me was fine ... I even started to second guess myself. Once I asked for my x-rays, even I saw the problem! They probably wanted to wait for it to get worst and cash in a little more since it's pretty obvious with the other reviews (on google map for instance) that this is what they really are after. I'm just mad at myself for not looking for a second opinion sooner because I would have saved money in needless filling. Dr. Brace once did a dental exam for my neice and reported she had eight cavities, all on the top portion of her teeth. Knowing her eating habits and that she had not been prone over her eighteen years to having any cavities, her cousin, and orthodontist did a routine exam within several weeks of her visit to Dr. Brace's office and found no evidence of any cavities. read more

I wish I could write a good review because I don't like to complain about businesses. But I feel very strongly about this. I have spent A LOT of money here. I mean A LOT. More for cosmetic purposes, but I've gotten a few crowns. and we all know how expensive those are. Dr. Brace and Dr. Grayem do not care if you walk out of there happy. They tell you what you want to hear with a big smile on their face. And I promise you, you will be back shortly after because the problem won't be fixed, even though they will tell you to "give it time" for the pain and sensitivity to go away. I only go here because the cosmetic work that I had done here isn't covered if anything goes wrong if I go somewhere else. So they "got me". Anyway, never a pleasant experience here. I have finally found a dentist that truly took the time to listen to what I truly wanted and explained each procedure thoroughly without making me feel rushed and putting my needs first. Dr. Jillian Bruch did EXACTLY what I asked her to do first (and very well may I add) as well as set up a plan for my future dental care. I have been to so many practices where they told me what needed to be done and in what order it would be done. Dr. Bruch took care of everything in the order that I requested. This office was extremely nice and pleasant. I loved my first visit, until they went over all the work I "needed" done. They told me I had 6 cavities, needed a tooth removed and replaced with an implant, and one more procedure I honestly did not understand. The out-of-pocket would have been approx. $10,000. I was SHOCKED. I go to the dentist twice a year, never had any issues before. So I tried another one nearby (Kirkwood Station) to get a second opinion. As it turns out, I have 1 small leak and I need a crown removed and replaced. Total out-of-pocket: approx. $700. I spoke with a friend of mine who has been going to this dentist for a few years and she said the same EXACT thing happened to her brother and father. To me, this seems too coincidental to be just a mistake. I am surprised to see such high reviews, I believe what they are doing is very unethical. read more

1 star because of the treatment after a tool failed. A file broke off in my root canal and the dr sent me home with a referral slip to a specialist and 5 pain pills, 4 hours later I'm dying in agony and have to completely relive another painful root canal and prey they can save the tool and remove the file or I'm going to lose a major molar due to a lack of gentleness with his file use while performing a root canal. What am I suppose to do now? Suffer and sleep, suffer and go to work, suffer and hope this referral and reverse the damage done? I feel so alone and kicked out on the street after a root canal gone wrong:( read more

Dental care has always been about "convenience" and location my entire life rather than standard of care. That is until tragedy struck my mouth and I was in dire search of a dentist who cared. After a few appointments with different dentists, I was left feeling empty and hopeless. Then I took the leap and made an appointment with Dr. Bialecki and haven't looked back! I have never TRULY felt like my pain and dental treatment quality was priority to a dentist until now. Not only do they have the most cutting-edge treatment, reasonable pricing, and incredible dentists, but their staff is beyond friendly! I came into St. Louis Dental County Partnership for a teeth cleaning and exam based on online reviews. Scheduling was easy and flexible. I was able to be seen within a week following both calls (had to cancel my initial appointment). Margie was my hygienist. My dental background is complex and Margie was accommodating and supportive throughout my entire cleaning - providing gentle cues (ie. I can close my mouth more), affirming my current hygiene routine, etc. All creating a wonderful experience. She even followed up with a phone call the next day asking if I had any questions or concerns from my consultation. My consultation with Dr. Brace was thorough and pleasant.
