Our trip was fantastic. Beyond what we thought it would be. John was a great host. He had snacks if we wanted them and loads of information about our trip. We saw otters, puffins, eagles, a great display of beautiful natural habitats, a hot springs experience, as well as a handful of whales. John was generous and knew all there is to now about the area. We could not have had a better experience. Sitka was a stop on our cruise tour of Alaska. We spent three and a half hours with Captain John in Sitka Sound exploring wild life. John's knowledge of the area is exceptional and he took us to places that a large ship could not go which proved to be the best experience of all. He did this while respecting the wildlife in their habitat. His knowledge of the area is outstanding and his kind disposition made this experience the highlight of our trip.
