As a diabetic I am very careful about what I eat and have worked hard to get blood sugar down under control. I have kidney disease due to uncontrolled diabetes. I was admitted to hospital for Acute Kidney Injury due to medication for Gerds. While in hospital the diet staff refused to let me have a diabetic diet and gave me a renal diet with lots of carbs. My blood sugar reflected this and went high. also the staff did finger sticks after I ate not before so not accurate . To mang unprofessional incidents to list here.

He answers my questions (even when they're silly) and listens to my explanations of what's going on with my body. The doctors, nurses, and staff were as compassionate as can be and seemed to truly care about my well-being. Also, they were very supportive of all decisions and non-judgmental.
