Last winter Albemarle Tree Service came out and removed several trees that where overgrown and starting to hang over our house. Another outstanding job by Albemarle Tree Service. Albemarle came out and trimmed back badly overgrown trees which extend from our neighbors property. The branches were extremely high up and scratching across the side of our house and beginning to make contact with our roof. The crew is large and works beautifully together, they clearly communicate and anticipate each others needs and the best course of action. All debris was cleaned up and taken away. We could not have asked for a better job! These are our go to a tree Specialists. This is our second time using them, we previously used them to take down trees at a rental property. Albermarle has disappointed me me recenlty. I've been an annual contract lawn chemical contract for a few years, had some tree work done by them and recommended them to neighbors. Last week I called twice to inquire about a particular service need and they have not called back. I don't know what's going on there. read more

Recently had a few trees removed, others trimmed, stump ground, overall a good cleaning of the yard. The team showed up on time ( a little early), were pleasant and helpful, had awesome equipment, and did a wonderful job on our yard. We have gotten compliments from many neighbors and appreciate the suggestions made for our yard when we asked for estimate and the work done was even better than we anticipated. They cleared away everything. They worked well together and everyone seemed to enjoy making our yard better. Albemarle Landscapes did a fantastic job on two landscape projects. I had my entire front lawn covered in zoysia sod and they covered a dog walk area in Natural Synthetic Turf. Pricing on both projects was very competitive and their work ethic was top notch. I think the thing that stood out about Albemarle Landscaping is they are the complete package, start to finish, which something that is extremely rare in this day and time. I always get three quotes and I try to get references. They have done three jobs for me. 1. Remove 13 very large pine trees and 1 very large scrub, and grind the bases under surface-level. Remove all debris. 2. Trim/move a few large shrubs. Remove debris 3. Finish the clearing of a 1 acre lot. Take down 30-50 small trees, trim a few very large pine trees, grind a few hundred small pine stumps, and leave the lot mow-able. Remove debris. All their work was excellent and professional. They brought the right power tools for each job. They came quickly to give estimates and they did the work when promised. They showed-up as promised. All workers (8-10 person crew on one job) were professional, competent, friendly, hard-working, and willing to let me discuss my interests/desires. They cleaned-up and removed all debris. Their prices were competitive. We have had a lot of work done on our house in Currituck (10 miles from the Outer Banks). This is the best contractor and work crew that we have hired. read more

Set up an appointment with the office to get my home looked at and trees trimmed. Gave office my number, said owner would call me and come by on Friday. Waited to hear from him. Never showed or called. Emailed the office and never got a reply. I'll move on since they can't be dependable or return calls or emails. read more
