I really would suggest that; it allows you to 'step out of the box' and allow the creative to be creative. There were a variety of types of eaters in our crew and everyone was taken aback by how delicious, hearty (yet refined) and satisfying her meals were. She is very kind natured and even allowed our children to "assist" her at times. We can't wait to see her again. Honestly, if you are considering hiring a personal chef, look no further. We selected him and his team for our wedding in Tuscany in April 2018 and it couldn't have been more perfect. The process was amazing - Alessio gave us an incredible choice of food on the menus, and all were extremely gourmet options - not the standard mass-dinner selections you usually get for weddings. He let us mix and match to our taste. On the day, he and his team were excellent - they supplied not only amazing food and service, but also everything else you needed - chairs, tables, glassware, bar, apertivo - the whole thing from start to finish. His traditional cake show, where he made the wedding cake by hand in front of the guests was truly a wow moment, very memorable and great for pictures and to get the energy up after a dinner. I have done 4 photography workshops in Casperia over an 8 year span of time with our final big meal at La Tacita each time. I never would have taken my 12 workshop participants there each time if we had ever had a bad experience. The staff was terrific. At the time, they had a 2 star Michelin chef who came up from Rome to prepare our menu and even shared his recipes with me so I could go back to the US and create a cookbook. They were very accommodating for people with gluten and vegetarian issues. The meal was big with several courses including wine and a wonderful and creative dessert each time.
