Saremo lieti di mostrarvi anche il piano di lavorazione della nuova cantina, la bottaia, con archi in travertino per creare il giusto clima per l'invecchiamento nei Tonneau di Rovere e illustrarvi i diversi i vini di Maremma prodotti nella Cantina della Fattoria Acquaviva.
The wines produced by the Wine Farm can be tasted in the restaurant or in the wine bar, which is located inside the old wine cellar in the country hotel.
It will give us great pleasure to show you where the work is carried out in the new wine cellar, the room with travertine arches where the wine casks are kept and where there is the right atmosphere for the wine aging in the oak Tonneau barrels; and we will also show you the various Maremma wines produced in the Acquaviva Wine Farm Cellar
History
Established in 1984.
La fattoria Acquaviva nasce nell'84 quando il signor Serafino D'Ascenzi, attuale proprietario, acquista la tenuta dai Marchesi Ciacci.
Inizialmente vi erano solo tre ettari di vigneti di bianco che il signor Serafino ha poi incrementato con il rosso arrivando all'attuale estensione di 15 ettari.
L'alta qualità dei vini e il consenso della critica convincono prima ad ampliare l'antica cantina, poi a realizzare la nuova cantina.
The Acquaviva Wine Farm was created in 1984 when Mr. Serafino D'Ascenzi, the present day owner, bought the estate from the Marquess Ciacci. At first, Mr. Serafino bought only three hectares of white wine vineyards; later, he purchased more land for red wine vineyards so that, nowadays, his property is made up of 15 hectares.
The excellent quality of the wines and praise from wine experts made them decide first to enlarge the original old wine cellar, and then, later, to build the new wine cellar

Serafino è un uomo di grande passione, con la moglie Valentina, ha fatto rinascere Villa Acquaviva, abbandonata da alcuni anni, arrivando a produrre vini di grandissima qualità ed innovativi.
Serafino is a man of great passion, with his wife Valentina, has revived Villa Acquaviva, abandoned for several years, producing wines of great quality and innovative products.
