The medical care is exceptional, but the office's billing system and front desk management are so disorganized and dishonest that I can no longer remain silent. I feel it is important to warn other parents about the administrative nightmares I have faced here. In October 2025, I brought both of my children in specifically for flu vaccines. I was explicitly told by the office staff that there would be no copay for flu shots. However, during a follow-up visit on January 8th for my eldest child's fever, the front office nurse suddenly claimed I owed a copay for the October visit. When I questioned this, she admitted the mistake and assured me she would remove the charge. Today, I received separate bills for both children with completely conflicting and nonsensical information: For my eldest: They claim I didn't pay the $25 copay for the January visit. This is false. I paid it on the spot, but they now claim that payment was applied to the October flu shot visit because I supposedly "asked a question" to the doctor, which they coded as a full office visit without any prior notice. For my youngest: They are charging a copay for the October flu shot visit. My youngest ONLY received the vaccine and no medical questions were asked, yet they are still demanding a copay and told me to "call my insurance" instead of fixing their own internal error. It is incredibly frustrating to be told one thing in person and then receive a completely different bill months later. The lack of transparency and the office's refusal to take responsibility for their billing errors is unacceptable. It's a shame that such a high-quality doctor is represented by such a disorganized and unprofessional front office. As much as I like the doctor, I cannot recommend this practice due to these dishonest and stressful billing practices. What hurts the most is that I genuinely wanted to support this local practice. Since I have a PPO insurance plan, I don't need a referral and could have easily gone to a local pharmacy or Costco for these flu vaccines. I chose to pay for parking and drive all the way here specifically to support the doctor's business. To be met with such dishonest billing practices and unprofessional excuses in return is deeply disappointing. I will no longer be going out of my way to support a clinic that treats its loyal patients this way.

They're not the kindest people; often, barely a greeting when we enter. They once charged me twice for an appointment. They take forever to get back to you on something. My latest qualm was last week. My 3 year old was having diarrhea all week and then started vomiting. We've been coming since my child was a newborn. My husband called on a Thursday try to make a next day appointment for Friday, before going into the weekend. Whoever took the call just said they did not have anything available until the following week and that was it. There was no care, not even a "let me check with the doctor and see what we can do" or "let me see what Dr. Chuang says." It was so disappointing.

She never leaves without addressing every concern and I always feel so heard. I swear she handles their care as if she sees them everyday, and she uses all information to help me understand one diagnosis or concern over another. She's joyful and gentle with my girls; a true pediatric paragon. I love this office, and when hearing about my friend's experiences at other offices, I am always so grateful for them.

My husband typically has a lot of questions/concerns and they always take the time to address them. Dr. Melanie is so sweet she will put your fears at ease, and her husband is also very thorough in his explanations and you don't feel like you're being rushed out as I've experienced elsewhere. I have had zero issue in contacting the office, I have been able to get an appointment quickly and even same day when I had an urgent issue. The two people I have interacted with at the front desk have been very helpful, even when I initially was having issues with my insurance, they were patient and helpful. As a new parent I am constantly worried about where I take my daughter for care but it has been a relief to find this office.

I would like to share our experience, hoping other families will find it helpful…read more We have been treated unethically and unprofessionally by Wu Pediatrics. As clearly stated by our insurance PPO Silver plan; all preventative services should be covered in full by our family plan. Wu Pediatrics threatened to send our medical bills to collections and neglected to inform, that all charges were for preventative services. As per their demand, we have paid requested amounts in full. Only to find out later same day that we should not have been charged at all. When we requested for the refund to be issued they refused. Being fully aware they charged us unlawfully, they would not refund us before all claims would be reprocessed. Finally, 30+ days later when all claims got reprocessed and came with Zero Patient responsibility owed ... they still attempt to deny us our refund. After I pressed for it, insisting that they have no legal basis to deny us the refund, they agreed. In the same email, they have notified us that they will no longer service our family and we better look for another Pediatrician. (see copies) Parents, be aware of their practices. They are counting on you not being aware what your insurance plan cover, and often will charge you twice, asking you to pay deductible in the office and later also billing your insurance company. Note, 95% of all medical insurance plans do cover in full your kid's preventative services. If you are presented with the bill balance, before you pay be sure to call your insurance and confirm the amount owed. It is likely, you will not have to pay anything.
