The staff and professors at the time were awesome and I built the foundation that set me up for my entire career at OCCC. I met some great people there, a few of which are still lifelong friends. I really enjoyed their summer reading program they offered this year for adults. My biggest complaint is with a few of the staff members. There are a few staff who are very rude and unhelpful. A few times I asked an older gentleman for help and he quickly responded in a rude matter, saying I can't help you. He wouldn't even try to ask a colleague or attempt to help me. I finally found a different librarian and they had to remedy the situation and teach their colleague the process. On the other hand, there are many librarians who are very friendly and helpful, but it doesn't go for everyone. In addition, they are very quick to accuse you of damaging books. The smallest tear or stain requires you to pay a large fine to replace the book. There is something called wear and tear that happens when books are lent out to people and that's the reality of a library. Overall, I am happy with the library and appreciate the resources.

When I get there the woman tells me I have my OWN library in Warwick. And wouldn't even issue me a library card!! Isnt Greenwood lake park of Warwick? Well why in NYC I can go to any of the boros get a book and return it to Any of the libraries? I will never go back nor will i ever spend a cent in this Greenwood lake again!
