A estimator came and wouldn't provide any written quote instead specifically said they dont do written quotes, so I had to take down any notes myself. We asked for a quote for the exact model of goodman that I had quoted from another company and the price came to $2000 more for the exact same thing! And thats with the $1500 off already!!!. They then proceeded to tell us that our water heater needed to be replaced also although it was only a year old!! Bunch of scammers at this company

Do not trust this thief, he is not an honest person. If he is willing to rip me off for services already paid for there is a good chance he will rip you off as well. Thief, scam artists, not trust worthy. Lots of honest hard working people working in this trade. Think long and hard before you decide to use this thief.

I had High Point Mechanical install a new furnace in late September 2023. The biggest mistake I…read morehave made. It was an absolute nightmare. To begin with the furnace didn't work properly, the existing AC unit also didn't work, it was determined that the motherboard needed to be replaced. I was told there was a motherboard in stock and they would return in a few days to install it. After several no show appointments by High Point it was finally replaced approximately 3 weeks later, the furnace still didn't work properly. Lee promised to return in a couple days to troubleshoot the furnace and get it working properly. Again, there were several no show appointments until finally a couple weeks later Lee did show up and told me that a couple of wires were crossed supposedly at the manufacturer. He also stated that he had disconnected the AC and would return in the spring of 2024 to get the AC operating again. It took approximately 2 months before the furnace operated as it should. This spring I tried contacting High Point to have them come and connect the AC, phone calls, text messages and voicemail messages went unanswered. After a couple of weeks I decided to have a different company come to connect the AC. It was determined that compressor wasn't working. It was the technicians opinion that when the furnace was installed a couple of wires were not connected properly which shorted out the motherboard as well as the AC compressor. Thanks to High Point Mechanical I now have to replace the AC unit.

Apparently driving downtown is too scary for them although i live in a part of downtown with extremely easy access in and out.
