Aside from seeing family which is always good stuff...I have noticed a change in GP this year from last year. Not sure if its because of the economic hit Alberta took or what but it seems to have brought out the possible worst in people. Especially in the customer service industry which will always be the most important. Customers is what makes or breaks a business. I firmly believe this. However...some of you may have read my updates on Canadian Tire to Walmart here. Here is another prime example of just poor customer relations. Booked with a tattoo shop named #alltheragetattoos in Grande Prairie, Alberta. I was told I would have an appointment made for Friday at 12pm. I was also told to go in Thursday to meet and greet somewhat with the artist. The gentleman who supposedly booked me, never booked me. The lady, Toni was very nice about the whole thing and proceeded to make the correct booking and apologized of course. The deposit was made and today was my appointment, for 11am. Upon going in today I was very excited....pumped...Ready to go. After the artist, who goes by TJ whom I met, and seemed very nice to work with did up my stencil....which oddly enough I never did see...he left. As it was the shop was waiting on "product". Wouldn't you have product ready anyway? Whatever...I was willing to wait a bit. Sooo after about 40 minutes the artist TJ leaves. That's right. Left the shop. For ohhhhh....about an 1 and 20 minutes. Never did return and basically, left me hanging. Now...I arrived with an additional $1000 in cash on top of my deposit. The guy went to go Co sign on a car! So guess what...I walked out. First time in 22 years that's ever happened to me. Suffice to say the shop had customers walking in and leaving because the artist was booked as I had an all day appointment. I was then told a discount would be offered and also a suggestion of rebooking me for Sunday. How about no thank you. I had a booking, it was for today dude. You messed up and really should look at your priorities. You lost out on a $1200 day. I hope you are able to explain to the owner how you lost out on $1200 today due to the unprofessionalism displayed on your part today. You can bet this will be shared with the rest of the ink world. #alltheragetattoos

I received my first tattoo by the man who I believe runs the shop but I'm not completely sure who…read morehe was because he never introduced himself to me at all. He sketched up my design quite quickly and I was happy with it. He placed the design on my arm and told me "it was straight from his view and that's what matters". I wasn't given a chance to look at it in the mirror but if I had, I would have had it moved down by half an inch because it wasn't in the middle of my arm. As it was healing I thought I noticed spots where the ink was lighter or missing than in other spots, I just chocked it up to healing. Now that it is completely healed what I thought I was seeing is actually what I was seeing. The script is missing full lines and the shading isn't completely filled in. My month old tattoo looks like I have had it for years. I am greatly disappointed and dissatisfied. I definitely do not recommend All The Rage to anyone.

Worst TATTOO ARTIST EVER!! (Steve), he is so arrogant and rude and think he is nothing but the…read morebest. I was nervous going to him at first due to when I came in for a consult my friend had just gotten her tattoo done and he had nothing but RUDE things to say about it. However because I had a gift certificate I carried on with the tattoo it took 3 diff appointments (1 for outline, 1 for shading, 1 for color) However he wanted to rebook to color cause he wasn't finished AGAIN, each apt was about an hour and $150 an hour and had to pay after each session. It took me awhile to go in and get the last bit finished but over that time my tattoo had FADED considerably so I said you know what I WILL NOT GO BACK.... Therefore I went to SHOWDOWN TATTOO'S In Edmonton, AB and had HEATH SMITH recover the entire tattoo but with the same idea and concept and it took him 2 hours and it was only $350 and 100X better!!! Not to mention I brought in a picture to Steve @ Inkubus for color ONLY of the flower (gladiola) and he did nothing but pretty much trace the ENTIRE picture and use it for my stencil. When I wanted TRUE artist work, which he is NOT!!!! I highly do not recommend the guy! He will feed you with junk that just because he has his Masters and that he is nothing but the best. Yah right you ARROGANT PRICK!!!

Personally I have never gotten a facial before, my fiancé suggested I accompany her and after a lot…read moreof refusals, I agreed. And I'm honestly glad I did, the experience was pretty good. I don't know what to expect usually so this was a first for me. The entire full facial w/o waxing was about 45-60 mins, my face got pampered and cared for. Facial care is something we should all add to our care routines; especially if you haven't done so already. Personally, I would like to try it again with the waxing option this time; should save me from having to be clean shaven at work for a few weeks. The staff here were pretty nice and amazing, truly appreciated them making experience from start to finish something unique and special. I hope you have an amazing spa day!

Thursday March 18 was my appointment, Friday the 19th was my rebook and subsequent series of condescending text from the manager and a very unpleasant phone call with her. The original Esthetics lady was great but I felt rushed in the end with the gel setting time. Manager came out said are you almost done next appointment already here. I did not mind the chips so much - things happen, mistakes happens. What I DO mind is that even though they offered to redo everything the manager messaged me and said they didn't have enough time to do my appointment - that I didn't book time for the polish to be removed and I didn't book the right appointment online. Basically that it was my fault but they would be nice and fix it. Making me feel bad and being super condescending. 3-4 messages in a row! I checked - I did book exactly the right service and time online for the polish to be removed and the time to be having new polish put on. That was the buttons that I clicked and I have screenshots of it. When I called And said look now I'm really uncomfortable and it's not an enjoyable spa experience anymore please just give me my money back - she absolutely flat out refused. Just offered to redo it. Which I would have I booked to do that but The continuous messages she sent me were so weird and uncomfortable that I didn't want to go anymore. I said in my job if I don't do my job properly and I did not give good customer service I would never ever charge my clients when I sell their house. It has never happened to me but I made a mistake I'd absolutely correct it without my customer thinking that it was their fault. She just refused and said I'm not gonna argue with you and I won't give you your money back you can either come and get it fixed or not that's up to you. I point-blank asked her, so I run the risk of it happening again, chipping cracking and bubbling again, but you're making me feel bad , I feel uncomfortable, I don't want to come in there, and you won't just give me my money back? she said no. I did leave a review on their Facebook page and I see that they responded to it but honestly I never even looked at it because I'm not gonna spend another second of my valuable time responding to that negativity. Im just putting this review here to save someone else the headache of wasting their money there. I'm over this - that is $65 I'll never get back. I could've donated it to charity or something more productive but instead I just lit that money on fire. I've had plenty of great services at a lot of different places in this town, but since merle Norman has new ownership and management, it's gone down the drain badly. Both myself and my children have bought numerous products and services there over the years - had massages facials manicures pedicures eyebrow waxing all kinds of services I won't waste another cent there ever again. I guess if your business isn't doing very well and you need to keep the money that badly after it was your fault there's nothing I can do but shame on you seriously - that's terrible customer service. Don't you just hate when businesses are perfectly nice when they're trying to lure you in the door to get your money and then they act like villainess vultures when they do a mistake and try to blame you? yeah me too.
