Employees rate Brightpath 1.7 out of 5 on Glassdoor.ca. Remember, when you're dropping your kids off, you're leaving them with people who feel "bullied", "overworked", and "underpaid". Run by a company who "would rather you fill out paperwork all day than supervise/interact with children". Our older son is special needs (speech), and as such had a team of workers assigned through the PUF program (Government of Alberta). We last met with them for a progress report on the 4th of March, at which time we came up with some new strategies to address issues he was having in class. The teachers reported back over the coming days that he was doing really well and even asked us to reward him at home for being so good at school! On March 11th the management asked us to come in for a meeting at 3pm - with one day's notice. If we were available at 3pm on a weekday we wouldn't need childcare. We responded that we would need to arrange a time that worked for us, like 5pm, or 8am. The management would not agree to this, and so we had to put off the meeting until I had a morning off, on March 21st. At this meeting they told me they were kicking our son out. So to summarize : March 4th we strategize how to make things better. From March 5th - 10th he does great. On March 11th he's kicked out. This decision was made before March 4th, or the progress from that meeting would have been taken into account. I asked the management team about this, but they just said the decision had already been made, and blamed me for the short notice because I couldn't attend the meetings they had suggested earlier. So the decision was made, prior to March 4th, so why wait until March 11th to tell us? Money. The only reason we weren't told about the decision prior is so that Brightpath could get one more month's tuition out of us for our two kids. Brightpath is only worried about their income (another common sentiment from their employees), not about the well being of the families they work with. Our son will now lose his PUF funding for speech therapy. The management doesn't care. We have only 9 days notice to try and find somewhere to take him because neither of us can take time off work. The management doesn't care. I'm going to report all of this to PUF, Calgary Regional Childcare Licensing, and every social media platform I can think of. We'll see if they care about that.

They arrived right on time at our acreage and got right to work. They were very nice young men and took good care of our stuff and our walls, what more can you ask. They were done very quickly and then they even took away some building material that we needed gone. All in all a great experience and I can't recommend them highly enough. All I have to do is leave my bottles out for pick up day and they do the rest. The communication is outstanding - I receive communication prior to delivery, confirmation when pick up occurs and friendly text messages that made me realize I was talking to a real person. Plus, they e transfer so they take every annoyance out of the traditional bottle drop off. They care about doing the right thing and I look forward to watching them grow. They are leaders of their industry!
