As soon as you walk in you realize this isn't your average thrift store. The store is well laid out, organized and has that fantastic smell of used gear (but in a good way); it all brings back good memories of the past. They have a good assortment of records (yes vinyl is making a comeback). And they are dirt cheap; mostly costing less than a buck! I picked up two records and it cost me a toonie. How great is that!! The store shelves are organized in a great way, great friendly and inviting owners, wonderful jazz music was playing in the background, housewares, books, clothing, toys, electronics and even furniture were available to snap up. Be careful, walk into Junk in the Trunk and you'll be walking into a time-warp that you may not want to leave.

I admitted I had tried on the dress that had a sales tag on it and she told me that I wasn't allowed. I told her there was no sign saying otherwise. She was grimacing at me and shaking in place saying that I broke a cheap replaceable claw clip that was used as its 'hanger' . Lots of sarcasm and domineering attitude from this very young woman, saying "of course, just assume everything!" In a high pitched tone. if you want a fun experience, this is the opposite of the place you want to go. Terrible service, lackluster and dirty clothing available, store cleanliness in general is allergenic and dust filled. Dont waste your time.

The circumstances of this interaction raise significant concerns regarding donor safety and staff conduct on your premises. During the donation process, an Asian male employee became confrontational and aggressive without provocation. He stated that my donation would not be accepted due to my "attitude," despite no inappropriate behavior on my part. The situation escalated rapidly. It is important to note that this was not the first instance in which this employee displayed rude and aggressive behavior. Prior to this incident, I had already observed and experienced unnecessarily hostile conduct from him, which made the escalation during this encounter particularly alarming. The employee removed my donated items from the donation bin and forcefully threw them back into the trunk of my vehicle. He then moved into my personal space in a manner that was physically intimidating. At that point, I felt unsafe remaining in the area. My elderly aunt was present and was visibly distressed by the employee's behavior. Given her age and vulnerability, the situation was particularly concerning. Out of concern for our safety, we immediately returned to our vehicle and left the property. This incident reflects a serious breakdown in appropriate workplace conduct and raises significant concerns regarding staff training, supervision, and enforcement of basic safety standards for members of the public. The behavior exhibited was not merely unprofessional; it was aggressive, intimidating, and created an environment in which I reasonably feared for my personal safety. Employees interacting with donors represent your organization and are entrusted with maintaining a safe and controlled public space. When that standard is not met--particularly through repeated hostile conduct--the risk to customers and donors becomes unacceptable. No individual should feel threatened, physically intimidated, or compelled to leave your property out of fear, especially during a routine and voluntary donation process. The presence of an elderly individual during this incident further heightened the seriousness of the situation. Vulnerable members of the public must be able to rely on the expectation that your premises are safe and that staff behavior will not place them at risk. Brought the bag in to Cross Iron Coach where I bought it - the sales associate was very nice but she had to go and get a manager to approve the return. Fine. I got nothing but attitude from the female manager although I have 100 of their bags and never had to make 1 return, ever. She kept wanting to have it send out for repair, wanted to make me home office's issue for a greater profit return on my benefit, blah blah and soured me on getting a credit towards a new bag. I get it, you do not want to lose the sales number but life is life. I finally got my refund back onto my Visa and left. Not a good day Coach, but I still love you, minus that 1 manager.

Yup, I'm a fan!…read more I've loved Coach for over 20 years. And no, it's not for the cheaply made canvas factory bags that take up most of the real-estate in this, and other, outlet stores. It's for the vintage, and heritage line leather bags that made Coach so famous 40+ years ago. As well as for the silk scarves, colourful umbrellas, fabulous shoes and boots and chic costume jewelry. And when the real items, from the full priced stores hit an outlet at 60%... well now, I love it!! Oh - and I am also addicted to the adorable key chains! I probably have 20!
