The restrooms are clean and there are vending machines. Getting back onto the highway was okay. They have a long acceleration ramp which is helpful as there is some incline here. There is also a corresponding rest area on the other side of the highway for westbound traffic. This is a beautiful part of the country and the highway parallels the Saint Regis River as well as the Northern Pacific Trail. If it's not cold, spend some time enjoying the scenery. There is a corresponding rest area on the other side of the highway for westbound traffic. The two rest areas are not connected. Unlike the previous, this rest area has a large structure (heated!) with restrooms and water fountains and vending machines. There are picnic benches and a space for pets. We stayed one night here due to needing a pet friendly refuge (and a fridge) during a major windstorm and resultant power outage. We did not have time to shop around. The room was fine, nice, stocked kitchen, but the bed was not that comfy. We were in a room away from the busy road, but still needed the fan on all night to cover the noise. Breakfast was a let down. Mostly a lot of packaged things, with the standard sausage gravy and biscuits being the only hot item. Service was fine. We did not need the pool, it is small BTW or the grilling area. The work out room looked to be in nice shape with some decent equipment.

Our reservation was made several months ago and prepaid. I was told they could not switch rooms from the second floor to the first because I didn't request it in the booking. And because I prepaid, they couldn't refund our money. My husband stood by the stairs to help a few elderly people up the steps and then brought their walkers up. The pros: The bed was comfortable, the towels were soft, and the room was clean. They had a decent breakfast consisting of breakfast sandwiches to heat up in the microwave, cold and hot cereal, a variety of breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, and fruit juice. To add to my review, I contacted management, and they credited our account with 8,000 points.

He called me a "stupid cunt" ( right anfter everyone left) and told me to get out of his office. for no reason at all! I told him he deserves the life he has and he followed me out to my car taking pictures and recording me blocking me from leaving the property. I was so scared I had to call the police. They came and he had the same attitude with them. The poor police officer had to call for back up. 3 police cars later they threatened to take him in. The police officer said it's not his first time getting called because of this guy. Truly an aweful human being. Avoid if possible!!
