Bachelas

I've been renting road bikes from Bachelas in Manosque and Forcalquier for the past 3 years. Prices are excellent, the bikes are in great condition, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend them.

The Mont Ventoux is a definite site to check out if you're in the vicinity within the Provence…read moreregion and also if you're a Tour de France fan. We did it by car and the drive was spectacular. You're concentrating on the steepness of the mountain that you forget to look off to the side to see the stunning landscape...but once you do you can see why people love Provence so much. Along your drive you can watch the crazy cyclists and admire their determination to get up the mountain. I have so much respect for those who do it on the bike because it's insane! Once you're up on the mountain it can be a bit crowded and hard to find parking. When you've found a spot, take in the beautiful panorama of Provence and congratulate the cyclists you see who have finished.
