Jerry Albright and his team are fabulous, A-One, Top Notch. Jerry is very detail oriented and extremely professional. He addressed things other painters never mentioned and or would not address. He reviews his teams work and verifies completion in great detail. He completed the project in a week on a 4400 sq fr tri-level SFR. He starts with a full house power wash. About 8 months ago, Jerry and his crew did a fantastic job painting the stucco of our 3 story house. He did a thorough prep and power wash and custom tinted the primer producing a nice, even finish color. The borders between different colors were all cut in beautifully. What can we say... We had a bedroom rehab... New closet doors, new shelving in 3 closets and new floors. Jerry is extremely meticulous and has an excellent eye for color palettes. While his workers were preparing to paint he helped us choose the colors. No white baseboards! For the baseboards we chose a slightly darker version of the wall. The trim, doors and closet doors were chosen to match our existing shutters. The color of the closets were chosen to compliment both. Everything looks custom. Albright Painting......., let me tell you about Albright Painting. I was referred to Albright Painting by my Real Estate Agent Cindy Wilson (wonderful lady). The owner, Jerry Albright, talks fast and sometimes you need him to slow down. When I met Jerry, he's talking about baseball, vacations and of course painting, giving me ideas left and right. Jerry, is just passionate about what he does and how he can carry out your vision to achieve your desired result and make your home can look it's best. After interviewing (too many) painters to paint my home I eventually selected Albright Painting. I chose Albright Painting, because during the interview process I appreciated how Jerry, pointed out areas of my home that needed attention that others had not as well as those that others had. I had my house painted (Pinole), last October (2018) and my family and I couldn't be more pleased. Jerry, and his great crew were always prompt on their arrival time. The crew was very friendly and very good at communicating what they were going to be doing during the course of the project as well as attentive on confirming customer requests or offering suggestions that I certainly hadn't thought of. I needed touch-ups on my home and they couldn't be done during the heavy rainy season so I had to wait until this April. Jerry, was quick to schedule a convenient time to come to my home and once again go over the areas with me along with one of his lead crew members (who I'm sorry I can't recall his name at this time) came out and the job was executed beautifully. Sometimes service providers once they are paid they forget about you and the relationship can turn tense with things like touch-ups. Definitely not the case with Albright Painting. This is the 3rd job performed by Albright Painting and the results perfection! We did an extensive remodel which included every room in our home except the master bedroom. Jerry is so good with capturing your style that we asked him to choose the paint colors. His canvas during the selection process, were small samples of the new floor, counter, kitchen cabinet, new recessed lighting, and a lot of new sheetrock. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience using Albright Painting, and were left frustrated and disappointed with the whole experience. We ran into the following issues, for which Jerry will not take responsibility. I'm uploading pics as well. Background: Jerry was hired by our property manager to repaint the interior of our 1920s era home (lots of molding and other detailed areas, not your standard boxed home). 1) Communication: Communication is not a strong suit of Jerry's. He missed his initial walk through and didn't call to say that he wasn't able to make it. After waiting for an hour, I had to go back to work and we eventually rescheduled for the following week. Jerry nearly missed the second walk through as well - after waiting ten minutes without any sign of Jerry, I called him and he couldn't remember that we had rescheduled. I had to wait another 45 minutes for him to arrive. He also needed to be reminded of painting dates several times, which is worrisome when you only have a 10 day window open to complete the project in. We had agreed on a matte sheen, as we have a high amount of natural light, which creates a glare against any non-flat surface. However, Jerry painted the walls eggshell, and our whole home looks blindingly shiny. Don't make my mistake - have Jerry physically sign off of your paint sheens and colors. 2) Broken and damaged items: Jerry's crew damaged many of the original features throughout our home. Broken tile, missing hardware (including antique glass knobs), paint all over our deck and stairs, paint on all of the doorknobs and floors, a broken sink faucet, broken toilet, broken (and paint covered) towel rack, paint covered bath mats, broken wine glasses, and broken soap dispensers are just some of the items that were - well - broken by his company. There is also paint on our antique, family heirloom furniture, and paint covering the leaves on my deck plants. His crew even painted our cabinets closed. His crew used a tape that ripped up the finish from our hardwood floors as well. 3) The mess: Every. Single. Thing. was covered with paint dust and over spray. I have spent the past three days cleaning my home from top to bottom. What a mess - I am shocked at the condition they left it in. read more
