However, less than 20 minutes later, I received a text providing me with a price list and fees for services. I was not in need of chair and table rentals until 1/4/25, but I wanted to put in a reservation for the items needed well in advance. Every time I contacted Gkew Rentals, Mr. Askew responded immediately. On the day of the event, he was on time and waited patiently as I handled an issue with the venue for him to deliver the items needed. Once he and his very pleasant helper dropped off the chairs, he saw that I needed help bringing in items from my car. He offered to help bring in my items as well, which was above and beyond what he needed to do. Due to the delay of my event starting, I reached out to him to request if he could come one hour later to pick up the rentals. Again, he accommodated my needs without any hassle. So many backdrops. So many props and accessories. It's honestly a content creator's dream. Denise is absolutely amazing with pets. She's kind, patient, and knows exactly how to bring out the personality of each pup. She captured Lexi's bougie spirit perfectly -- it was almost impossible to choose just a few favorites because she nailed every shot. Lexi sat like a pro and gave face in every frame. We've now purchased our Christmas tree from them for the past few years in a row, after previously purchasing from another well-known lot nearby. They have the healthiest, best looking trees I've ever seen, and the best prices to boot. Their set-up is so organized that it made finding our perfect Christmas tree super easy. We especially appreciated the walkways which they have in place so that we weren't traipsing through the mud and dirt. A staff member was readily available to pull any tree out for us to examine on all sides, and they're all so pleasant! They have trees of all sizes, though tending more toward the kind of lush trees which you simply cannot get at Lowe's or Home Depot or the like. We were very impressed with their prices--we have 10 foot ceilings, so appropriately-sized trees can get quite pricey. The tree we chose will more than fill its corner, and that size usually runs about $150+. We paid only $108 for it at Granny's. So, not only are you getting the best trees, but you're also getting the best prices! They had our tree trimmed up and loaded onto our car in no time. We also purchased a bottle of Prolong, a water additive for your Christmas tree which truly works to prolong the tree's life (we buy it every year), as well as an extended thing to actually water the tree more easily. Don't forget the little pine reindeer! All in all: A+++ and would highly recommend

This facility was one of the first to come us when I searched and after a brief email exchange, I was set up with my 8' table and 15 nice folding chairs. The pick up time was flexible, which was great since I never know the ships schedule. Having to go and get the rentals and bring them back was a little inconvenient, as we don't own a truck and had to get a shipmate to transport for us, but the great service we got and the flexible time frame we were given to return our rentals without being charged extra fees more than made up for it. The awesome price for the total rental was a perk too. Knowing I can count on Perfect Event Rental means I can plan more great gatherings with the people we love.

I left the studio in tears and want to give everyone a forewarning before you decide to book with her. I reached out to this studio earlier this year to book my session for my first borns newborn photos. Her work looked great and I wanted something special for our first child. Her prices upfront were crazy! I know photography is expensive however I know in other places you can find things a lot cheaper. Unfortunately out in VA and North Carolina, which is where I live, the prices are steep compared to other places I've lived. There aren't many out here so I think that's why they're able to up the prices. Dreamy baby did have some cool sets for pictures and ultimately that why I went with her. So I guess in December 2024 there was a promotion where you pay $500 for a $600 gift card...basically $100 off your session. I contacted her after December and she said that deal is over but if you book right now I'll let you use it. I said perfect do you usually have other sales? My son wasn't due till early April so I was willing to wait for a special since it is A LOT of money. She said this was the only sale they do. So I jumped on it and booked. LITERALLY a week later she comes out with an email that has another special for booking. I did the calculations and it came out to be $90 cheaper than what I was going to pay. This should have been my red flag to find someone else. I'll include the text messages but basically I just felt she was super shady. I also saw she had an all digital package and when asked about that she said that she no longer did it and will be taking it down from her website...but it's still up there. So then comes the day where my son was born, I texted her the following day to let her know he was here and to schedule us. She booked us for almost 2 weeks later and we were set! Our session was for a Thursday, the 24th and the Friday before, the 18th, I reached out to let her know what props/backgrounds we wanted. I never heard a response back to confirm anything. Then the day before our session, 23rd, I reached out again because now I have no clue if we're good to go or not because I hadn't heard anything from her! I asked what we needed to bring and this lady tells me then that she had a price increase to the packages. On MONDAY...a few days before my appointment...is when she tells me there is a price increase. Not when I reached out to her that our son was born, not the Friday before to confirm, and not the day the actual prices increased. NOPE! She texts the DAY BEFORE OUR PHOTOSHOOT that there is a $200 price increase! I was livid! Again I booked with her, paid the studio session fee to save a slot, back in January! And I reached out to book before this price increase. You're telling me that if she would have seen us a little earlier I wouldn't have been slapped in the face with this extra $200!? I just felt this owner/company has no morals or integrity. My son had already been born, it's not like I could book with another photographer because most of them ask to book in the third trimester at the latest so that they could get them in for pictures before 2 weeks of age. Upon showing up to our appointment my husband asked about this price increase and seeing if she will honor the price that was originally what it had been for 4 months since we booked it but continently increased 3 days before we showed up. She said no and basically I had to sit in that appointment trying to be friendly to this woman. I left there in tears spending around $1500. Because other hidden fees included shipping of the pictures and of course almost $90 worth of taxes. I left crying and am praying that over the years I don't look at the photos of my son and remember this person. So I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
