It was a shame that the Hemingway bar, upon which the hotel prided itself, was shut each evening we were there. The option of breakfast was an additional 10 euros or so per person per day, which seemed very steep and unnecessary with such a great range of cafes and bakeries nearby. The hotel is in a great location within the Altstadt of Stralsund approximately 10 minutes walk from the main station and less than that from the quayside area. A great bargain on sites such as laterooms but not worth the full price. Would nevertheless recommend thanks to a well-maintained level of cleanliness and a great level of customer service.
