This place is for more concerned with making money than with really helping their clients. The…read morerates are far above the norm and they will not work with insurance at all. They have set up an auto-debt from the account you give them so they make sure they get their money. If your therapist leaves this place then you cannot see that same therapist at their new location. You are stuck with either seeing a new therapist at Therapy Austin or with finding a completely new therapist outside Therapy Austin. To me that is unethical. They use the "slippery slope" fallacy that "if all of the therapists took all their clients we would go broke". Give me a break. Some therapists will leave and some clients will leave as well. To make such a heavy-handed non-compete is not necessary and it interferes with the clients best care.

I was mentally broken, physically broken, spiritually broken, financially in a very dark place ... I had just went through losing one business partner to Suicide in Tulum and a best friend and a past business partner to a mysterious murder or suicide in San Antonio. On top of that the Million dollar business I built the new interim CEO stepped in and decided to stop honoring my three year signed compensation agreement and was owed a LOT of money. That put me in a major tailspin and depression cycle. I was filled with anger and rage from the betrayal and spiritual, financial, and emotional attack. Doing business with a Narcissist can be extremely toxic. I had my entire three years erased by a man who wanted to replace me, consolidate control, rewrite narratives, and cut out my position and ability to earn a living. ON top of all that I was the one who built the brand and business. I was at the lowest of my low. Could barely afford the cash to put together the money for the session. My life is such a 180 degree turn in my life. I have now attracted circumstances, people, business partners, investors, friends, advisors, new business, new income, new pathways to freedom and abundance that I only dreamed of. But it took me having the COURAGE to LOOK WITHIN, GO WITHIN, and HEAL WITHIN! The journey is always INWARDS, not outside people, places, circumstances, things, ideas. I came to the Within Center in such a dark place- I was so lost and broken. I was extremely stuck in my healing journey, coming from a past filled with trauma that years of therapy could not fix. After going through their month long retreat program, I've been able to completely change my life. I've been able to process my traumas, remove any blocks, and emerge as a completely different person in the best possible way. One of the best things about Within is the people. Sarah Slack (Retreat Manager & Guide) has had such an impact on my life. They also told us they would work with us to get our insurance approved since they are out of state. They didn't move forward because it was going to cost them to become licensed in our state. Essentially they weren't even licensed to help us. Their solution was to put us on a sliding scale. After a few months of being toyed with we left them being worse off then we started and several thousand dollars down the drain. They are more interested in creating psychological trauma than curing it. It's better to keep you sick than healing.

You can tell her process works as she is working on your body - you feel sort of releases in different areas as she is working on you. I feel that my cancer treatments are more effective with the relaxing of the myofacial. She has such a intuative nature, knowing what questions to ask in order to really understand your pains. Every appt begins with many questions of pain level, areas, levels of pain - then she begins treatment fully aware. I am so thankful to have found Jessica.

I have…read moreall kinds of spine issues from my tailbone up through my neck (C2), and needed to be adjusted regularly. I did Bowenwork in my area for a few months and then moved to the greater Austin area. I thought I would go as long as I could without any body work, but after a few months I found it increasingly difficult and painful to raise my legs for each step going up to my 2nd floor apartment. I could see that if I didn't do something I was going to have a particularly difficult time getting into my apartment. I found Jessica from the Bowenwork Academy's "Find a Practitioner" and saw that she had taken all the courses and had more than 500 hours of Bowenwork experience. After 3 times of going to Jessica, I realized while I was quickly and easily going up the stairs that I was not in any pain! It just happened so naturally, I didn't notice I was doing better. Jessica has also worked on my jaw (TMJ), my neck (weak voice), shoulders (tight and painful), pelvis, knee, wrists, lower back, hips and feet. Afterwards, I have to sleep and allow the Bowenwork nudges to awaken my body's healing response. Really, I wouldn't believe it, if I didn't experience it every time. And Jessica has a sense of what is needed, and how to address it. She expects a change, and adjusts what she does, if it's not forth coming. I have also had a session of therapeutic, restorative movement (not sure what she calls it - using special balls for self massage) and that session relaxed my muscles so much that again I had to sleep. Jessica is not in this business for the money. She tells me what I can do to help myself at home. She told me where to go to get the balls and how I could find the videos so I could work on myself at home. She could have all that in her office and mark up what is already really expensive, but as I said she's a body worker not a shrewd business person out to make a buck. Jessica is an honest, true healer. I highly recommend going to her a few times and then see if you really do need a chiropractor.

Steven and getting acupuncture have changed my life and I now swear by acupuncture and TCM!
