For the first half of my life, I was a super fit athlete who ate a lot of cookie dough. For the second half of my life I worked all of the time but didn't change my eating habits. My goal is to not recognize myself by the end of this year. I will not continue looking into the mirror and longing for the thin and fit person in me... sexual metaphors aside... when I realize that all I have is NOW. Suffering = pining for someone from my past to be in my future, or lamenting that I am a size MILLION when I want to be a size 8, or saying I do not like freckles and red hair when I do not have the money nor vanity of Michael Jackson to change that about myself. All I have is NOW. The goal this year is to shed weight like kids shed clothes at Barton Springs... fast and painless and fun while, at the same time, going through an emotional breakup. This is where I knew I needed to talk with someone who could help me. With a BA in Psychology, MS in Counseling and a background in business management and corporate coaching, Pam Yagjian takes hypnotherapy to transformational levels. She listens for about the first half hour or so and takes notes. Then she hypnotizes and continues to have a conversation with my usually hidden self. Some of it I remember and some of it she reminded me of when I was no longer in a sleep-like state. She utilizes the initial talk time to guide what she says while you are hypnotized.
