A team of three showed up ready to get busy removing two dead trees from our yard. We moved a few things out of the way, and they started. They were well trained and worked well together. It looked like every safety measure was taken. All the branches and pine needles were removed along with the trunks of the trees. Definitely would hire again. read more

We called Alder Creek Tree service to come in and do some deep pruning on two very large trees that we have. They arrived when they said they would and thinned out the trees perfectly. They cleaned up all debris and left the yard in great shape. We would definitely use them again read more

Alder Creek tree service had done a job for my neighbor. I don't believe she had any issues and the work looked fine. I had Alder Creek give me a bid and we did agree on price. They were to start work in 7 to 10 days. Two days later they called about 9:00 AM and ask if they could start the job that morning about 11:00 AM, I said yes. I changed my day's schedule to accommodate their request. At 1:00 PM they had not arrive so I called to find out when they were coming, no answer. At 3:00 PM still they hadn't arrived so I called again, no answer. It has been 3 weeks and I have not heard from them. I waited all day for them, they wasted my time. They did not have the courtesy to call and let me know they weren't coming. This is a stupid approach to customer service, they don't care. I guessing if someone were to waste their time they would be very upset. I would recommend not using this company. They seem to have no concern for customers, they are flakes. read more

This company broke my fence, said they would come back to fix it and have not done so yet. I will remove this negative review as soon as they come and fix my fence as they promised. Left a few branches in nearby trees and bark chips all over my grass. They said propping my fence back up fixed it so if you want piss poor work done, these are the guys. This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with. After a month of going back and forth with Phil, taking him at his word that he had me scheduled to remove trees from my property, I finally had to get it in writing. On the date they were scheduled to come out, they were a complete no-show and didn't even bother to call to re-schedule. Although I can't comment on the quality of their work (because they never showed up to do the work), I can attest to their poor communication and inability to follow through with scheduled projects. I would not consider using them in the future. read more

The Park Manager had them come out two years ago at which time they 'topped' off three of four maples and cut another down. After they 'topped' them, they actually had removed all the healthy limbs still able to produce leaves as the moss is not controlled in this area. So, two years later, the three maples plus another in the back were taken down. If you remove the only ability for a tree to survive, it dies - and they stay in business. After removing the four remaining maples, they left all the sawdust which has been tracked inside my home ever since. Called the Park Manager who had them return but all they did was remove the piles of shavings but not the millions of little squares and rectangles which I'm still dealing with daily. Additionally, the first and second time they worked here, they failed to use a cherry picker and instead, climbed up cutting and tossing the limbs onto the existing bushes, plants, and other trees, breaking limbs on all remaining greenery. I needed an 80' Douglas Fir tree brought down that had been damaged during some trenching . I called 3 different tree services in the area and selected Alder Creek based on price, availability and comfort level after they came and looked at the job. Team showed up on time and went right to work. You can tell a lot about a company by how a crew acts together and this crew worked as a team. The crew lead said he had been in timber for about 40 years and it showed because they dropped the tree exactly where they planned to, disposed of the branches and cut the truck up quickly. I would definitely recommend Phil and his team to anybody. read more
