The two men working are so unfriendly, particularly the guy with long hair. He's so condescending.

Little Giant Farmers Market is a small Georgia based chain with five locations around the state,…read moretwo of which happen to be in Newnan. This particular store is located on the corner of Jackson Street and Millard Farmer, also known as "on the bypass" for those from Newnan. While it the anchor of the small shopping center there are a few other things next to it including a Chinese spot, nail salon and hair stylist. Parking is plentiful and never an issue due to the large dedicated parking lot. I will say that "Farmers Market" leads you to believe that his place is going to have plethora of fresh fruits, veggies and meats. However, that is not the case. Little Giant is basically an off-brand super market with a smaller selection of most items, including fruits, veggies and meats. I will say that they do run decent specials on their meats, especially the ground meat. Prices are somewhat competitive, but not extraordinarily discounted on any given item. They do have a section of $1.00 priced items that always include good things such as condiments, tuna, snacks, etc... Service has always been decent here. Never had any issues with the floor associates or cashiers. Overall, the locations of the two stores in Newnan are pretty convenient to my parents and that is the main reason I swing in here on occasion. If I am being honest, if I had the choice I would scoot up the road to Kroger for my big shopping trips, but LG is a decent choice in those moments where you need a few items.

It ended up being just about the same as a Publix or Kroger grocery. I think the most frightening thing about visiting was 2 female employees got into a fist fight at the checkout and started pushing each-other into the merchandise. I felt like I was on a TV show or something... Police came and everything.. crazy!

Country Gardens offers a variety of fresh vegetables, meats, eggs, even raw milk for your pets! My pets quite enjoyed the raw milk and we will certainly be getting some more on our next visit. Their farm stand has self service during the week during the open season (good to know if we're in the area during the weekday). I wish we lived a bit closer because I would love to participate in a class in the future! Highly recommend following their Facebook page or directly through their website for more info.

Welcoming you to this sub'untry enclave is multiple goats, loads of chickens, a couple of great pyrenees, and a few miniature horses; perhaps they are ponies, I'm not really sure about that. After you park go visit the animals. After all you might later purchase some of their brethren. That's right kiddies.. those lovely chickens you are cooing to lay oodles of gigantic organic*, free-range*, all-grain* diet eggs. And those eggs are spectacular, which is a good thing at $5 per dozen. Country Gardens might even have some of those pastured* chickens frozen in the freezer waiting to be purchased, cooked up, and eaten. They also have loads of grass-fed*, chemical-less*, meat "products" like young goat, cow, or pork. There is even raw milk fresh from Country Gardens own dairy down the road. If that doesn't completely rock your socks off, and it does mine because I am one of those crazy bitches who wants to know exactly how many friends my dinner had while alive, what kind of music it liked to listen to, and what it's favorite hobbies were (Portlandia), then be prepared to get excited about the large quantity and great quality of their garden products. Oh yes. Not just a farm...but a nursery....for plants...lots of plants. All the plants I saw here looked great. Prices were good. I didn't really notice a difference in what I would have paid at big box nursery vs here. On top of the fresh meat and eggs, beautiful plants, and live animals, they also have a gorgeous vegetable garden and during the summer you can often purchase fresh*, organic*, obviously local* vegetables here. They have a CSA that delivers to Peachtree Road Farmers Market. So anyhoo to sum up the review, this place is great. It is a haul from Atlanta proper, but the eggs you get here are freaking A-MAZING, and the dogs are nice, and the animals cute, and the plants pretty, and so on and so forth...... *Had to throw in as many buzzwords as possible in order to meet my "what white people like" daily quota

I have to say I was a little surprised but this store has good deals and good produce. I have to admit I was surprised. Their app is also super helpful. I can use it to lol at different stores near me or to kinda create my list prior to going. I wanted to emulate this sandwich I ordered at a recent lunch date that had kale, pickled red onions, roasted peppers pesto, in a spinach tortilla wrap. I found all the items at this location via the Kroger app before going. The kale bunches were huge bunches for 1.49! The app gives the location to the aisle which is pretty helpful.

It's gotten bad enough that I've started shopping at other grocery stores instead. Today was another example. I stopped by the deli for sandwich meat and stood there without being acknowledged by either employee. One eventually asked what I needed, still no greeting. The same employee I've encountered before, who consistently has an attitude, helped me this time. She didn't ask how I wanted the meat sliced, so I said I wanted it sliced thin. She never acknowledged the request, not verbally, not with eye contact, nothing. When I got home, the meat was sliced so thin it was falling apart. At that point it honestly felt intentional, like being punished for making a simple request. I'm over this location. Between the declining store conditions and the repeated poor attitude in the deli, it's just not worth the frustration anymore.
