    Remodeled Produce Area
    Steve D.

I like the cleaner, brighter sales area of the recently remodeled store. I often buy my produce here because the prices are always reasonable (regardless of the season). There often aren't enough checkout lanes open, causing lines, but they usually move quickly. Very nice!

They are competing against Hyvee and ALDI is holding its own, the price are better and the staff is super nice, chocolate milk 1/2 was $1.05 and now $1.15 u can't beat that anywhere, I hit all the grocery stores, just what my mood is but will go to the ones i like the best, western Shawnee is little higher, just like Springfield mo too, they do have drive up so u don't have to leave the car, I like the barista IMO ice coffee pumpkin spice is back bigger bottle this time, must try

I actually like shopping at Aldie and don't have a problem with their products. My issue today was with this employee who did not give a rats ass about any customers in the store and kept cutting people off as they were shopping. I was clearly walking like I was in pain, This employee cut me off three times while shopping. She looked at me at least twice when she did this the last time she kind of gave me a dirty look as I attempted to speed up. She made absolutely no apologies or comments when I said things to her Behavior. She needs to realize she Is a real percent of the company and it's because all of his shop here that she has a job.

Aldi's remodeled store: spacious, updated and more items. Good selection of organic produce at reasonable prices.

Good prices without needing to buy large sizes along with good quality. What more do you want?

The Aldo in Overland Park is much better than the location on Paseo. They offer fresher & greater options.

Bought to prime ribs here for $5.99 a pound. Also got carne Asada at about half the price of what it would be at the grocery store.

I used to run to HyVee right down the street, but if I have to go here, I will most definitely stop and shop at Aldi's.

There are never any good coupons, promotions, or discount days, but even so, I continued to support your business, spending on average $17 a visit. I kept hoping that once you were more established, you'd start showing some appreciation to your customers. But today was the last straw. My bowl wasn't even filled to the top. When I politely asked the employee for a bit more fruit, especially since there were only five blueberries in my bowl and plenty of room left, I was told that management has instructed staff to put no more than five blueberries in each bowl. They are not allowed to fill the bowls anymore. This is a lousy business practice, and it speaks volumes about how little you value your customers. There's a new açaí bowl establishment just miles away that offers BOGO days, a rewards program that actually counts, and bowls filled to the brim. You can keep your five blueberries. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

My favorite bases to get are Pitaya, Coco Love, Mango, and of course Acai. The chia pudding is my favorite add on every time as well! Highly recommend.

I put my quarter into a cart and went up and down all of the aisles to check out their products. Aldi has a lot of good products for reasonable prices. I think they had moved their produce closer by the door and it was quite congested so I really didn't get to look at that area as much. Everything that we're in the fridge and freezer areas looked fresh and well stocked. I always enjoy going down their aisle that has a variety of non-grocery items to see what they have. They did have quite a bit of gluten-free items and a lot of variety of specialty beverages. While I was there, I purchased a variety of beverages for my husband to try. I purchased some gluten-free protein shakes and items as well as some snack things for my grandkids. And I also got a tool for working out knots in the body. That was an excellent price for only $6.99 which was wonderful since I had been looking at Walmart and there was $28 and Amazon was $18 on sale! I checked my own items at that time because I didn't buy a whole lot while I was in on the first visit. I did go back the next day to return an unopened package and an opened package of protein cheese puffs. They were absolutely awful, but Aldi has a good return policy and I had the receipt and they immediately refunded my money on a gift card because I told them I was going to use it while I was there. On that day, I purchased a few more items and left. The only thing that I don't like and the reason I don't shop there is because it feels congested down the aisles and everyone seems like they are in a mad rush to shop. It's kind of stressful and they only had two checkers working and they expected you to check out your groceries on the rest of it. So I'm sticking with Walmart just because I love the ease of having my groceries delivered and ordering online. But I would recommend this store for the great deals and good product selection.

But this review is more a story about how this place operates. Every Veteran's Day area HyVee's have a breakfast for Vets. My little brother (Army Vet) and I (Navy Vet) go each year. Mostly so we can let the people at HyVee know that we appreciate not only the breakfast but that they as a company and as individuals that VOLUNTEER to work the event, are deeply appreciated. So special shout-out to them for their time and consideration! As for the grocery store itself. It is exactly what you want out of a grocery store. Some of the things I really love: Bright and Clean Huge Selection Meat counter people are really helpful Food counters are usually well stocked and organized. Some things that need improvement: Produce selection. Good Basics but there seems to be no expanded offerings. Also while on produce... they at one time had a lot of the precut onion and veg and did a good job maintaining that. But, that has slipped. Bakery. So many wonderful options. But, there is no one willing to talk with anybody at that counter ever. And the one thing that bugs me about every grocery store... impolite shoppers! Hey, we all want to get in and get out with what we hafta get... we can do so politely and courteously. Look up. Pay attention to what is going on around you. Ask yourself if you are going to be specifically getting in someones way/personal space? Ask yourself if you are about to run into someone with your cart? -Sigh- this does NOT influence the stars for this HyVee.
