The squeak is like the bouquet of a fine wine....the sign of excellence....according to Wisconsin standards. They have more varieties of cheese than I can count along with fresh butter, Braunschweiger, Summer Sausage and a small ice cream store and more. Around Christmas expect long lines, customers purchase by the box load and gift fresh cheeses and sausages. A stop to the "Cheese Factory" isn't complete with a visit to the ice cream shop and enjoy a scoop or two in a cone or dish.

For $20 a family of four should be able to do it all. But whatever, a guy's gotta make a living, right? So I send the kids into the spook house, while I walk back to the car. I'm back in 5 minutes and there are the kids. "Didn't you go into the spook house?" "Yeah, we're done." For $3 a head, my kids should be busy for at least 10 or 15 minutes. So we get our pumpkins and head over to the corn maze. Again, $3 a head, but this time it's all of us. I haven't been in so many corn mazes, but I can tell you, this one sucked. There is no point at which you cannot see where you are. I'd have an easier time getting lost in my bathroom. Then in the middle there's this wooden structure with the Wisconsin and U.S. flag flying. From far away, you can see that the Wisconsin flag is half gone... but ok, it's just the Wisconsin flag and this is a farm, so who needs mining anyway? But up close the U.S. flag was pretty beat up too. I understand that farming can be a tough business and agri-tourism is one way to make up for it, but if you're going to fly flags, they should at least look decent.

They do not add sugar to their cranberries so a bag of the dehydrated cranberries do not contain the high sugar content of most other brands. This also helps retain the natural "tartness" of the cranberries. They were very friendly and courteous and answered all our questions. We were able to purchase a number of 1 oz, 3 oz, and 4 oz bags (although I made be wrong here, but I believe they were discontinuing the 4 oz bag at some point). We keep some handy and munch a few now and then right out of the bag. My wife got energetic and made some cranberry scones. I've got my eye on a cranberry waldorf salad recipe I want to try. On their website, you can find the various stores they sell their products through or, if one is not nearby, you can order online. All in all, a very pleasant experience. The woman prioritized helping all other customers for gas/groceries first. I requested help to attach a trailer to my hitch, and had to wait until he next person came on duty. The woman did not have gloves and was freezing, so she didn't verify that she had attached the trailer trailer correctly. I drove 2 minutes down the road only for the trailer to become completely unhitched. When I called and rose the issue to their management, the manager proceeded to blame me for the incident and claim they had no responsibility to verify things were correctly attached. This business was grossly negligent and has no regard for customer service or safety.
