Food is typical Culver's food, it is clean inside and staff is always friendly. I wish they would offer more flavor of the days. You can basically predict the menu with the same over and over and they never have any of the really good ones. read more

Culver's going down hill. In the last month I have ordered 3 value baskets and each time the got the burger wrong. First time, ordered a double deluxe no Mayo but add mustard and ketchup. Burger came to me with no condiments. Second time ordered the same. Burger came to me with all 3 condiments. Called the restaurant this time and they apologized and sent me a coupon for a free value basket. Third time ordered the same thing but I received a crispy chicken sandwich and no burger. Called the manager, he apologized but said he can't do anything because it appears they can't get it right. Great way to handle a customer problem???????? read more

We moved to Wisconsin Rapids about a year ago and have been disappointed with the quality of the Culvers. We came from a city with 3 different Culvers, all of which offered consistently good food and service. Wisconsin Rapids...not so much. But, since options are limited in WR, we've patronized the restaurant despite the somewhat substandard experience. Tonight's experience was by far the worst, though. We pulled in to the drive-thru just after 9 pm and my partner placed an order for a cod sandwich basket, a grilled cheese, and soup. The cashier read our order back to us, we agreed that everything was correct, and we pulled up to the window. It took a REALLY LONG TIME for her to ring us up. Weird, but she didn't ask any questions or say anything, so we didn't think too much about it. (In retrospect, we realized she never told us the total or offered a receipt.) She put a number on our window and we pulled ahead. After a fairly long wait, considering that there were no cars ahead of us or behind us, someone brought our food out. Normally, they say, "Did you have the pot roast and the cheeseburger?" But this person said, "Number 60?" We looked at the number stuck to our mirror, which was, in fact, #60, so we said "Yes." The person handed us 2 bags of food, plus a tray with a shake and ice cream. I thought it was weird, but I had been on my phone when my partner ordered, so I couldn't remember/didn't know what he ordered. When we were about halfway home, he said, "Wait. Did you order a shake and ice cream? I can't remember." Realization dawned on us. I looked at the ticket on the bag, and it was in fact #60 - the number that had been stuck to our car - but the ticket had no resemblance to our order. Not one thing was the same. It was for three double cheeseburgers, plus ice cream, plus cheese curds, plus a shake. But, it was late and we were almost home, so we just decided to deal with it. Unfortunately, we can't check my partner's debit card to see if he was charged for the wrong order (which would be way more expensive than what we actually ordered). He changed phone numbers ages ago and can't get into his bank account since he can't get texted a code to log in. (Grrrrrrr.) But, I'm guessing that since we were handed that number by the cashier, we also paid for that order. What I really can't figure out is where that order came from since there was literally nobody ahead of us OR behind us. What the hell? Disappointing experience all around. I was at the Wisconsin Rapids location tonight with my wife. Why at 7:30pm are you out of all Tea drink choices and don't attempt to make more? I asked. All the tea (Sweet and Unsweetened) was empty for self-service as well as all the tea at the drive-up window. Obviously, all of these containers did not suddenly empty out. The manager on duty made the decision not to make any more when I asked. I think the staff needs to follow the monitor in the dining area instead of the customers. Mr. Culver makes a statement if it's not good enough for my family, it's not good enough. Everyone needs to follow what you preach, or your statements mean nothing. read more

This is a nice Culvers. Staff is fast and friendly and the food, of course, is excellent. Busy for a Saturday lunch crowd but service was still very fast. Restaurant and rest rooms were nice and clean. Plenty of parking as the lot is large. We will return. read more

Food is fresh and cooked to order. I don't mind waiting a minute or two to get the freshest, best burger in town. Fries and o-rings are pretty good. I can't believe we haven't had eve talked about the fresh custard. Many flavors and all fresh made. You can enjoy a dish, a cone, or a sundae that's out of this world. I guess they might be considered a bit pricey, but its worth every dine. Give it a shot and you won't be disappointed. read more

Went to Culver's yesterday 06/28/2022 around 7:55 pm, and had the flavor of the day which was Devils food/Chocolate ice cream. I got a double scoop and when the girl handed it out the drive through window it was dripping off the cone the ice cream was so melty and soft and not in a good way. I also ordered a double scoop which was supposed to be one scoop of vanilla and one scoop of the flavor of the day, they charged me for two single scoops and thats how the girl gave it to me. She was the most unfriendly employee I have ever encountered at a Culvers and when I asked for some napkins ( for obvious reason!) she closed the window and stopped paying attention to the drive through. Culver's ice cream isn't good when its warm and the Wisconsin Rapids Culver's wasnt doing a very good job at quality control. I should of went to Nekoosa for ice cream at Swiftwater!! I've lived in Wisconsin my whole life, and eaten at Culvers since childhood. I even worked at Culvers a few years ago in Whitewater, WI. I've eaten at different locations across the state, and I find that the Wisconsin Rapids location is one of the weaker links. Not only is the location what I've heard called "Jail-Bait Central" (almost all employees are high school girls), my and my boyfriend's orders are often wrong. Today, I wasn't feeling very well, and I just really wanted some good fried fish. We went to Culvers and went inside. There were two young women and a young man working in the front, and at least one person in the kitchen. We ordered our meals, I got the two piece cod dinner with double fries, and my boyfriend ordered a sourdough melt with no onions. I could see their screen, and since I have Culvers (and other food service) experience, I knew what I was seeing. There were four orders on the screen after we ordered. Two had gone red (waited longer than 5 minutes). The cook seemed to be just knocking it out of the park, getting the food up in a timely manner, but the other employees were really lagging behind. The food was sitting for quite a while in the window. I saw my fish come up, and the plate was set above the warming window, with no heat lamps over it to keep it warm. The cook clearly and loudly stated that fish was in the window. The young man employee was working drive thru, and one of the young women took our order. To be honest, I'm not sure what the other young woman was doing, she seemed to be fiddling with the area that has all the toppings for the icecream for a very, very long time. While we waited, someone came up and ordered a few single scoops of custard. While my fish was ignored, dying in the window, the custard was prepared. As a former Culvers employee, a few single scoops of custard with one or two toppings each should not have taken nearly that long. Not even close. When my boyfriend's food was also ready, both of our meals continued to sit for another several minutes while the three up front employees did other things, fiddling with stuff and just in general not having good priorities at all. When the young woman who took our order finally came to bag it up, the cook informed her that fish needed to be attended to right away, it couldn't be left sitting that long without even a cover on it. The young woman replied with an irritated "I know". If she knew, why didn't she at least walk over and toss the cover on to try to hold in the moisture and warmth? Because she didn't care. The half-hearted "sorry for the wait" when the food was presented to us, without any eye contact, did nothing to reassure me. And when I got home, the fish was dried out, lukewarm, and unpleasant. I live maybe two minutes away, so it was not the drive home that did it. I was very disappointed. There was no apparent manager around, and if one of those three were a manager, I'm even more displeased, because none of them showed an iota of leadership. And if anyone up front was over the age of 18, I would be shocked. Major props to the cook, who I believe is named Andy, for being expedient and telling the young woman about her error in a serious, but not mean or demeaning way. This location is notorious for burned burgers and messing up orders. I ordered a Wisconsin Cheesemelt Double and they gave me a reuben! Also the fries here have an earthy taste that is quite off putting.They just can't seem to get our orders right. After three times of them screwing up our order and the manager not giving a rats ass that we were disappointed we don't patronize them any longer. We have never had this problem with the Wausau locations however. Bad management. read more

Culver's is a Midwestern chain that started in WI. Very high quality for fast food. A little pricey but they have inexpensive value meals. For small fee you can substitute a side salad for the fries. Custard ice cream is awesome. One reason it is hard to be skinny in WI. read more

Just had a chedder burger and swiss melt with fries. The burgers what little you had, were seasoned well. Way dried out and very small portion. Cheese was also overcooked, it looked as though they microwaved an old burger. Supposed to be cooked to order but doubt it was freshly cooked. I've had great burgers in the past but will think long and hard about going back soon. The bread and buns tasted fresh and the fries very good hot and crispy. My friends and I go to the Wisconsin Rapids location for lunch between crafting classes. It is medically necessary for two of us to have gluten-free food and we usually order the Cashew Chicken salad. Normally, we have no issues. Yesterday, however, both of us were sick within an hour of eating said salad. This has completely broken my trust with Culver's. I will suffer consequences for at least another 24 hours. Gluten-free may be the joke of the day but it's no joke to me or my friend. read more

I have enjoyed every meal I had at the Wisconsin Rapids, WI Culver's Family Restaurant and the frozen yogurt/ice drinks/cakes ect. The restaurant has always been clean, including the restrooms, garbage cans inside and out clean and not over flowing, condiment area clean and full of napkins, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper ect... The food was always hot and on delivered in a timely and friendly manner. The drive thru is also delivered in a timely manner and is very tasty when arriving at home. No complaints here. Maybe just an outstanding Culver's?? Don't know, but I love my Culver's!! read more
