Both sandwiches were served warm which melted the cheese nicely. The Italian is different than what you would get in the states at say Jersey Mikes. This one is mostly sliced cucumber and a little bit of meat with cheese. Also sprinkled Parmesan with vinegar and a small dab of pesto. It was actually refreshing with all the cucumber on a nice baguette. The Ham&Cheese was my favorite of the two, although the croissant is really nothing like the flaky croissant you would expect. This one is more like a baguette on the inside and not layered at all.

It's not the most expensive- that honor seems to belong to the other grocery up the road a mile or two and the Cancun Pointe. The aisles are a bit jammed together, and they certainly cater to the gringo tourista. They have new swimsuits, hats, sunglasses, plenty of cerveza, tequila, mixers, and food. A bakery section offers pan dulces and a variety of things to make sandwiches with. There's a bunch of bottled water, and everything you need to feel at home. I kinda don't care for how they seem to organize this place- whatever they're doing, I haven't figured it out yet. The prices were okay, the selection okay. Okay!
