Really now, Germany? I should've probably known better than to get a burrito in this country…read morewithout doing extensive Yelp research beforehand, because döner is definitely king here. And if the döner joints on every corner didn't tip me off, the fact that the burrito I got at Taquería Ta'Cabrón looked more like a döner or some sad wrap with a dollop of salsa on it definitely did. Maybe the quesadillas or margaritas are passable, but my burrito was so pathetically wrapped that I've sworn off a return visit. In other words, everyone knows that a burrito's ingredients should at least be completely enclosed inside the tortilla... or whatever inauthentic tortilla substitute you end up using. C'mon, Ta'Cabrón. No partial credit. Because of the poor construction, the ingredients were poorly distributed throughout the entire burrito and each bite was a bland surprise. At €7.20, it's a bit pricier than a burrito at Dolores, but I'd go to Dolores over Ta'Cabrón any day.

was excited to try this place after 4 weeks in berlin and very little international cuisine…read more i showed up an hour before closing on a weeknight and was told they already closed? there were ppl inside still eating meals but whatever, that's disappointing tried again tonight i gotta say they are really living up to their name! they ask that you order at the counter, then sit and eat, then come back to the counter to pay?! never seen this before anywhere. why does everyone have to line up twice? that just slows your service down double. oh and the cashier is also the bartender so if you order drinks that will also slow down the line. i wait 10 mins to start placing my order and after i order the crispy tacos he quotes me 45 mins. okayyyy then i order the second item and he straight up refuses- he says that it'll take forever and they can't tonight. mind you there's not a single customer sitting inside and there are a few open tables outside they are obviously struggling to serve a half empty restaurant and for that reason i feel bad for their employees. they obviously need help and to reexamine the way ppl are served. the dishes i did see coming out of the kitchen were just room service quality mexican food. not worth the aggravation of trying to be served; on to the next!

Bite Club is pretty much a party place for your taste buds. A place where food lovers can go and do…read morewhat they do best, eat lots of amazing food! We came here through word of mouth from a friend who lives in Berlin and we were quite pleased we did. The bite club is located in a graffiti filled area of Berlin and you have to walk through some warehouses to get to this place. The area was very hip and alternative and quite cool! When we first walked in they make your throw away your drinks so do not bring outside drinks here. The first thing we got was a couple of cocktails and OH MY they were amazing! I got a blackberry cocktail (do not ask me what was in it) and it was amazing. The lady making our drinks was a proper bartender and knew what she was doing. The drinks were delicious and strong. After that we were ready to explore the food trucks and there were SOO MANY! So make sure to come really hungry here you won't regret it. They have food trucks for all types of foods, like tacos, sandwiches, burgers, and other different cultural foods. We tried the spaetzel which was my favorite and a must-try! Other than that we just walked around and ate as much as we could, I tried the burger with the whiskey soaked bacon, the BLT sandwich with amazing sauces and the tacos and I was beyond full after it! I wish I would have tried everything. This place is outdoors and they have a lot of seating available. A MUST TRY experience! If I lived in Berlin I would go here all the time!

A proper Negroni is hard to find in the city that loves its biergarten and beach bars…read more But trust that my good friend knows where to find one. He found one in fact, that's so satisfactory, and even more fantastic that they have a Barrel Aged one for only €10. (this is easily $16 in San Francisco!) I had two of these and was about to order a third one when someone (blame my husband) decided it was time to go home :( okay, okay. He had a legit reason, we had a 8am flight the next day. That didn't stop the crew from ordering multiple rounds of brewski, from IPAs to classic witbier or just ask the staff for the current specials and they can recommend something to your liking. Centrally located in Prenzlauer berg, this is a fun and relaxing place to hang out. The group was in a bitter sweet mood as it always goes on our last night in Berlin since we only see them twice a year. No doubt, I will be back to Salt n Bone. Especially since the menu is unapologetically American and in the land of currywurst and doner kebabs, that's definitely a good thing.
