From the very first phone call to Alejandra Charest, she demonstrated the upmost professionalism and drive to help us with our selling and buying needs. Alex and Rene (her husband and professional realtor) came to my home in Sanger and shared a comprehensive, informative, and detailed presentation about the process of selling and buying. We ignored her "advice" and listed it 50k above what she said and sold it 85k above what she thought it was worth. DON'T LIST WITH HER. My husband and I were selling our first home ever and we called Guarantee Real Estate and were immediately referred to Alex. First off, Alex really is amazing! With no notice during the early morning she immediately took the effort to drive over to our place to meet us and evaluate the home. She has many great reviews, and as soon as I spoke with her on the phone, I knew why. She was direct in her communication (both in recommending best courses of action/next steps and in her explanations of the piles of realtor/legal documents), and she is knowledgeable of the Fresno market. She helped me set realistic expectations and prepare my home to sell warp-speed quickly and at a great price. Her follow up was nearly instantaneous, and she went above and beyond what I thought an agent would do. She expedited a stager to spruce up my empty place and a roofer to repair some old wood shingles, coordinated with my property manager to transfer keys, and scheduled 2 showings in a couple weeks.....all around the Christmas/New Year holiday! My home was on the market for a couple days before I had my first offer come in. Two weeks later, I accepted a great offer after some negotiations (which she helped me handle to my benefit). I'm updating my listing because my experience after I signed my home papers was horrible. Like I said I was a first time home buyer and Alex took advantage of that and ran with it. She recommended a "home inspector" Jay Bray Inspections, don't ever do business with him either. The first 6 months I was here I had to clean up under my home because they're was a pipe leak for who knows how long, there was maggots already. I had a huge water leak outside the house with the sprinklers, I had to tear out 2 trees and one of the trees actually grew into the sewer line. The gardener was also someone she recommended. I spent almost 5k in my first months here, not to mention all the times I had to take off work. The gardener also did a half as job, I should have known he would because he told me this is the way Alex works, tells her people to half ass their job to just sell the house. After the 5 or 6 months I come to find out I have to replace my AC, that was almost 20k, and last year I had to stop using my restroom shower because it's leaking onto my foundation, and thats going to run north of 8k. Oh and to top it off moisture comes into our big family room around the floor from the outside and we have to figure that out as well!!! Mind you the inspector came out TWICE the 2nd time she "supervised" to make sure everything was corrected with what he said was wrong, later I come to find out only 1 of the things was fixed!!! I was living almost 2 hrs away at the time, so she was "sweet" enough to offer herself to "overlook" the last inspection, a bunch of BS I tell you, and NO, none of the things I've paid for were on the "inspection report". DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH ALEX AND SAVE YOURSELF THOUSANDS IN REPAIRS!!!! THANKS TO HER MY FIRST HOME PURCHASE HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!!!! OHHH AND THE KEY LOCK FOR THE REAL ESTATE COMPANY IS STILL LOCKED ON MY FRONT AREA OF THE HOUSE!!!! read more

I was in need of a real estate agent, and found Alex through Yelp. My husband and I were planning to relocate to Clovis from the Bay Area, but nothing was set yet. I contacted her to see if we could check out some houses to see what was available, letting her know that we weren't actually ready to put an offer on anything yet. Mary Jane was helpful and informative about the area, but not pushy in any way. Fast forward a few months, and I reach out to them again but this time, we are ready to put an offer in.
