In October 2024 I received a notice that my cancelled policy premium was due in November 2024 and that my escrow account would be debited for several thousands of dollars. Additionally, I became aware that my account was charged for the cancelled policy from 2023. Emails and telephone conversations were immediately made relative to this with this agency's staff in October 2024. No action was taken by Mark nor did he respond by email or telephone. Instead he ignored my repeated requests to effect the cancellation of the 2023 policy and return the premium which had been charged to my escrow. This dodge went on for two weeks. In early November 2024 I was finally able to reach Mark, the issuing agent. He responded feigning ignorance of my emails and telephone calls all he offered were half truths, excuses, and an anecdote. He did not even have the decency to offer an apology for his behavior. Mark stated he would address this immediately and resolve it. It is now the third week of November 2024 and my funds have not been returned. To be clear, I have been in direct contact with him and he has only offered excuses regarding this cancellation and refund. He even attempted to blame me for his unwillingness, incompetence, and patently ignorant behavior regarding this matter. It has been six weeks and my funds have not been returned. My call to the parent company Valentine Insurance was not returned either. The behaviors of Mark and Valentine Insurance are unconscionable and reflective of a vein of disreputable activity that is at their very core. Proceed at your own detriment with this lot.

Now 2 months after our last issue, we get a letter from the insurance company, saying they are going to drop us, if we don't show proof of no Tarp on our roof. We even got a licenced roofer to replace the patch on our roof, took pictures and submitted the certification for our roof. We sent all that information to him. Yet it seems nothing got done, sadly cant talk to the insurance company, they say talk to your agent. So it seems once he gets paid, you won't hear from him, unless you call like 10 times a day. We will not be using him for our future home insurance needs.

Mike has been the state farm agent for my family for the past decade or so. He's been extremely…read morehelpful when I needed it most. In the summer of 2013, my car was hit by another driver with terrible insurance. The accident was clearly the other driver's fault, and she admitted it, yet her insurance company would only pay for half the damages ($700 of the $1500 in damages). I had no idea what to do until I consulted Mike. Mike suggested that I file the claim with state farm and they would cover all the damages after I paid my $250 deductible. Then they would go after the other driver's insurance co. to pay for the damages. Whatever money they got from them would first go to me, and my deductible would be reimbursed. I went with Mike because I both trust him and I was guaranteed 1250, which is way better than 700. It's great to know that my insurance company has got my back. And Mike certainly helped relieve me from an extremely stressful situation. I can't thank him enough. Bottom line: You won't be disappointed with Mike's state farm insurance. He's a really friendly and helpful guy, and he goes to bat for you when you really need it.

I've had one claim as well which was handled without issue. I highly recommend both State Farm and this specific office to do your business.
