Stop looking - these are the best movers you can get period. We have worked in the past with a few other moving companies with so/so results. So when we were planning our move from Milton to Burlington, we decided we needed to find a company that we would love, one that would take the stress out of moving. We were moving from a 4 bedroom home to another 4 bedroom home. We own very heavy, expensive furniture, large flat screen TVs etc and needed a company that understood this and would come in, take care of our stuff and our home. disassemble and reassemble all furniture. I called and got quotes from 6 movers all ranging from one another but all based on an hours estimate. With us closing both properties the same day, it was challenging to trust the quotes I was given as we genuinely had no firm timeframe of when we would get our keys. Here comes Aleks moving, my last quote. Franko came to my home, assessed the load and came to me with a firm "this is the price, no matter what, no matter how many guys, how long it takes, how hard etc this is firm". Now this was certainly not my most cost efficient quote on paper but thinking through the proposition, when you thought about how long this would actually take and with the other companies offering 2-3 guys at a non firm rate based on an hour rate,  gas for truck, how big the truck blah blah, in the end, Aleks Moving's quote was the best one, given the other estimates would have ballooned in cost in the end with how long it would actually take on moving day. Not mention Aleks moving moves for Restoration Hardware, which made me feel really at ease as they understood the value, weight and nature of a lot of our pieces. Moving day came, Mario came on time with a truck of 7 guys. I was amazed. Mario had them get started right away and all the guys were polite and thoughtful of me and their work and Mario ran the crew like a well oiled machine. It took them less than 2 hours to clear the home, taking care to ensure each item was carefully taken apart and protected and taking care of the home as they moved. We didn't get our keys to our new property until 5pm, this was no issue for Mario and the guys, they patiently waited and just asked I called when ready. When I called they were at the new home within 15 mins this time with extra guys! Amazing! They got to work right away, so much care was given to protecting the home and ensuring I was happy with their service and where everything was placed. I cannot say better things about these guys. I will never ever use another moving company again and honestly, something Mario said stuck with me - I was concerned when we were about to get started about the house and said "please be careful with the walls and the furniture". He looked at me and said "we will move you in the same way I would move my family" - and I will confirm, this was true. Please stop googling/calling other movers - these guys are beyond amazing and you won't be disappointed, instead you will be stress free and very happy.
