Just got my items delivered; Charles and Douglas were efficient, careful and helpful moving in my items. Perfect close out for the whole moving phase from Ontario to BC! The movers in Ontario who came up to Ottawa for a small fee, will equally courteous, efficient and organized. Overall I am satisfied with MTS moving. Moving is stressful, MTS moving has the procedures and structure to reduce the stress with the clear online tools, notifications and follow up prior pick up and prior delivery. If there was to be any misunderstanding, it would be cleared out rather quickly and the transport went smoothly. They do have a minimum weight for their services, just be aware of that and take into account the coordination and logistics needed for cross country moving. I wanted something cost efficient and avoid some of the headaches and worry that come with other movers. I got my quote and booked it early before the Hormuz war, so they honoured the rates per the quote as opposed to now, the time of execution, where rates and fuel prices has gone up. Terrible Experience Not Worth the Premium Price. I chose this moving company because of the great reviews and paid extra for their premium service, expecting my belongings to be handled with care. That did not happen. From start to finish, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. During unloading, I watched one of the movers snap the handle off my suitcase right in front of me. These suitcases have been through years of international travel without any issues, yet they were damaged during a short local move. The furniture situation was even worse. It was not damaged in transit. It was broken by their crew while trying to put it back together at my new place. I saw it happen, but when I reported it, they tried to blame the material instead of taking responsibility. A sealed box that was fully taped on all sides arrived crushed, and a pair of my shoes was missing from inside. A sealed box does not open itself. Still, they insisted it must have been a packing issue on my end, which felt like an excuse rather than a real explanation. When I reported the damage and missing items, they were dismissive and hid behind their contract even though some of the damage happened directly in front of me. Their total compensation offer for broken furniture, damaged luggage, and missing items was fifteen dollars, which felt insulting. What really sealed it for me was that instead of resolving the issues, I was later offered two hundred dollars to remove or change my review. At that point, I started questioning how many other reviews were influenced the same way. Based on my experience, the service does not match the reputation or the price. If you care about your belongings and expect honesty and accountability, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. read more

This was the second time I moved between provinces. The last movers we used were so bad that this was great in contrast. They didn't trash my home or damage any of the walls. The movers all came in uniforms and with a branded truck. They also protected my floors with a red cover. They also delivered all my goods to each room instead of dumping all my goods into the living room. Tommy was my moving consultant, and he kept me updated during the whole move. I wish the price were much lower, but I have already tried the low-cost movers, and they are not worth it. I got a great service and was happy to pay for it. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I will go with Mts again. read more

GREAT COMPANY. Matt was very detailed during the booking, he described it. They even scanned and sent the time-stamped weight tickets right after the move, which was very close to what he had estimated based on my inventory list. The pickup and delivery movers were very respectful. The price was higher than other quotes I got, but it was fair. We had a wheel break from one of our cabinets during the move. The claims department sent the part we needed and someone to fix it. 2 weeks delivery time could have been better, but it was as advertised. I do wish moving companies had live trackers. It would take away a lot of stress. read more
