After doing so, I was informed that the firm would not be willing to file the more complex case. When I asked if they could recommend an attorney better suited to handle a more in-depth matter, if we choose to go that route but at this the attorney declined representation entirely and did not provide a clear explanation for the decision. Although the deposit was refunded, the process resulted in a significant loss of time and caused frustration, particularly given that my interest in exploring a more complex option had been disclosed from the beginning.

This person has you rehash everything you've outlined twice previously for the firm: once during an initial 15 min call outlining your situation with a different non-lawyer and again via an extensive online questionnaire providing facts & details of your situation. We walked into the "consultation" expecting that an attorney had reviewed our paperwork previous to the appointment and the "client navigator" would share the broad stroke strategy the attorney had conceived. What we got was that neither Cayce nor an attorney had read anything I had provided previously. It was literally, "So tell me about your situation." Huh? A consultation is defined as a conference at which advice is given or views are exchanged; a meeting to discuss the treatment of a case. How can that be achieved when one party hasn't even read about the case at hand? For a law firm to be inaccurate with it's language is enormous cause for concern. Additionally, Cayce was late to the 9:00am appointment. My father opened the office door for her yet when she came into the meeting room, she lied about her delay saying she was conferring with an attorney. I guess it's true, you get what you pay for. Zero value in this offering. Save yourself some time and go to an attorney that won't bury you in "their procedure" and actually give you some insights that will help you determine if they can help your case or not.

Who is profiting from the death, prolonged sickness and handicapped? Concerned people, close to Carolyn S. Luckey have filed complaints with the Guardianship Board and US Department of Justice to address the matter. They state the undeniable fact, that Carolyn S. Luckey never has required long term care. 3 years without proper medication, disregard for documented diagnosis and prognosis will prolong psychosis, we are entering into 4 years in Guardianship care with confinement and No visitation. Whatever her condition is, she is being denied social support, a connection to familiar things, classmates and friends from OSU, NYU, Howard University, colleagues and friends from the Ohio Historical Society to Reminiscence with and enjoy. In response to how she was doing, a Guardianship staff member commented that she was smelly and wearing a moo moo, where is the professionalism in that? Her friends attempted to provide robes and other gifts for Christmas. They were told she could not have any visitors or gifts. This is a financial, moral and ethical issue.
