So looking at yelp locations for barbers and salons out here and finding one that was open before 9 o'clock was difficult. Guess who found one that was open before nine?! The haircut exceeded my expectations. A sharp looking haircut at just the right length with the right amount of bulk taking out up top. What threw me off is when the stylist brought me up to the shampoo station and gave my head a wonderful shampoo massage. Couldn't be happier finding a place open who can accommodate a man's cut on short notice. Bit pricy but then again this is the first time I received a shampoo too.

Twice in the last few months the person who was doing my hair cancelled the morning of. I completely understand life happens - people get sick, emergencies arise, but when it happens twice in a row, the salon should do something more then send a generic text and then ignore their customers. After my replies to said text were not answered, I had to take it upon myself to call the salon to see if they could get me in another time. I made this appointment FIVE WEEKS in advance and needed my hair done for an event over the weekend. The woman on the phone was not very nice. When I expressed I was disappointed because this is the second time in a row this happened, she just said "we can't have people work when they're sick..." she completely missed the point. If I get cancelled on last minute, twice in a row, and you can't accommodate a new reservation, give your customer a discount or a free hair product. Not an attitude. Especially when the salon would have gladly charge me in FULL if I was the one to cancel last minute. Thankfully, I was able to find a place in the area that took me last minute so I will be paying them from now on. There are plenty of other places, who charge better, and care about their customers, so tread carefully with this place.

They do a great job keeping your appointment on time and it is such a relaxing experience. One thing to note, parking is super tight because of the nearby businesses so make sure you give yourself a little extra time to park and get upstairs because the parking lot is large but crowded. Both require experience and attention to my specific requests. Erin nailed it the first time. I was so excited to find someone who took the time to listen and followed-through. Red hair is tough and with Erin's color formula, I often get compliments from strangers. The curly cut was perfect as well. I received a bad haircut 2+ years ago at a different salon and I was finally feeling like I could go and get my haircut again. I was very careful when researching salons and thought this place would be a good fit. I mentioned in my booking that this was my first haircut in a while due to a bad experience and told my stylist. The salon also asked for pictures of my hair and sent a questionnaire asking what I wanted. I said multiple times that I wanted long layers and to keep most of my length. That did not happen. The stylist kept length in the back and gave me very short layers and I do not like the very poofy, volumized look. When I have gotten curly cuts in the past, it's like they are carving my curls with their scissors and making them fall nicely. The stylist here took portions of my hair and pulled them to the opposite side of my head to cut and give me very short layers. When dried, the curls get muddled together and do not even fall nicely. I feel like I have a shelf of short curls around my head. I wear my hair up and I cannot even wear it braided due to all the layers. When I shower I am reminded of what a hack job of a haircut I received and get sad all over again. Having mentioned my troubled past with haircuts in the booking (and in person), I thought that they would be very careful when cutting my hair. I am aware that my past heightens my current disappointment, but I think it is still worth to note to prospective customers that they are not able to achieve long layers.

I had known Kelcee many years ago, and it was as if we had never missed a beat! Kelcee was so patient doing my hair trial as I was not sure what I wanted. The day of the wedding they were on time, attentive, professional, and honestly incredibly FUN! One of my mother's friends was in the room while we were all getting ready and she asked later if Kelcee and Lauren were just friends of ours that offered to do our hair for the wedding, that is how incredibly friendly and personable they both are. All of our hair came out perfect, and one bridesmaid who had been in many, many weddings said she had never had better hair for a wedding, and she told her sister to use them for her wedding!! I cannot say enough good things about Kelcee and Lauren, I could go on and on. If you need someone for wedding hair, Lauren and Kelcee are a MUST!
