The painter climbed on top of our pergola and broke it in many spots from his weight. We had to have him come back out several times to touch up spots he missed. Finally he just left us paint and a brush and told us to do it ourselves? The old lumber was left on the side of our house with nails sticking out. Fast forward to when the snow melted April 2020. Out paint was already badly peeling. We contacted the company and they said yes, this was their issue and they would correct it. Now, 7 months later, the issue remains uncorrected and they will not return our calls, texts, or emails. I am left to believe this company is a scam. Beware.

After they were finished it was a goopy, sloppy, uneven mess (like I could've done it myself with no specialty tools, in a bad way) and about a year later the rust is already coming through my balcony again because they did such a poor job at buffing, grinding, actually covering tough crevices with paint, and sealing. While they were painting we had to tell them and show them they didn't go a good job, leaving rust droppings and dried paint scraps in crevices of the railing that they *painted over*. They came back a day or two later and not only gave me attitude but their second attempt they didn't really make a difference. In my photo you can clearly see they allowed a thick coating of gloopy paint covering an entire seam at the upper part of the corner, and textured bits being painted over instead of smoothed or simply dusted off

They showed up a day later then planned (which they said might happen when they scheduled us, but like I say, good communication - I didn't mind!), and each day they arrived exactly when they said they would. Our painters were Matt, JD and Mark. Really nice guys, very courteous. Then it slipped that I like noisy rock music and we jammed for three days - I even burned Matt a couple CDs, he was that cool. The guys had great concentration and went over their work to look for flaws, and believe me, when they left it was FLAWLESS! I also appreciated that Phil the owner dropped by to inspect the work. We had them do five rooms and the price was quite favorable compared to other contractors we called. We found them on angieslist.com, which we had to pay for. Another reason to get more people yelping.
