Once we submitted a drawing of the top to be produced it took 4 days to have the finished countertop ready. It was small and the shop guys loaded it in the pickup for us. We swapped out our existing chrome faucets for gold hardware, and the difference is night and day. The previous faucets had a very sleek, almost Star Trek-ish look (a fun nod to my hubby, who is a serious sci‑fi fan), but they no longer fit the direction the bathroom was taking. Once the rest of the space came together, it was clear the chrome felt out of place. The new gold faucets align beautifully with the overall design and add warmth and elegance to the room. They tie everything together in a way the chrome simply couldn't. What felt like a small change ended up making a big visual impact, elevating the finished space and giving it a more cohesive, intentional look. If you're on the fence about switching hardware finishes, this is proof that even after the "big" remodel work is done, thoughtful finishing touches can truly transform the final result. I was literally wowed when I walked into their showroom last Saturday. It was a mecca for everything home. Honesty, if you can't find it here, I don't know where you can. The only quibbles I have is that they do have departments and specialists for each department. I worked with Aaron in appliances but he could not help me with anything other than appliances. I also spoke with Kelly the day before by phone--both extremely pleasant to work with. Their computer system is not tied into their floor inventory, and apparently hard for even their staff to navigate, making identification of available stock on floor challenging without eyes on. Their desk phones are not wireless, so checking on an item on the floor means holding or calling back from cellular. This is a small, family-owned business. Now that Harway is no longer family owned and a part of the Ferguson brand, the choices for shopping local are dwindling. But don't let family-owned mean expensive. They price match with big box and offer much better service to compete strongly. Although I did not buy that day, I have them in mind for a couple of items. Recommended. Five stars.

Apparently he couldn't be bothered to read two whole sentences of email and only read the one half of the word "hardie" and I was supposed to understand that he had disregarded the rest of it. Listen: Maybe if you are a builder or something that is going to buy 2000 board feet they will give you the time of day. But even then I wouldn't want to support their dishonesty. I will try to keep this brief but there really is so much to say. We have a very big yard and only…read moretwo small trees, so we have been looking around for quite some time. Our ground is mostly rock with a little dirt (northwest Autin in the Hill Country). I have spoken to Albert several times over the years because our ground is so hard, and I worry about the installation, which seems to be the problem with all the other nurseries. Albert assured me they would do whatever it took to dig the holes and get them properly installed. We went to pick one tree this past weekend, but they were all so healthy and HUGE that we ended up choosing three trees. The trees are an excellent value for the cost. The experience was very enjoyable. A few days later, I was called to schedule installation, and they came out the next morning. Highlights: They showed up at 9:30, exactly when they said they would. Four men showed up (they were big trees). They had a jackhammer and shovels. They were very polite and worked with me on placement (turning them when I picked a different side to face the house). They spent time making sure the trees were perfectly straight. They hauled away all the old dirt and rocks (taking the rocks they dug up was great) They built a berm around the trees to help with watering. They installed tubing to help with daily watering. They put in metal poles and wiring to keep the trees straight as they grow. They checked to make sure I was happy with each tree installation as they did it. They made sure I was pleased with everything before they left. The area was as clean when they left as when they arrived. (This is a big deal because several contractors have left old water bottles and trash at our house before.) Albert called to ensure I was pleased with the work and is coming later today or tomorrow to install a timer for the water. I could not be more thrilled! The trees look gorgeous, and the surrounding area is tidy and well-manicured. We are already planning where we will put more trees next year. If you are at all considering investing in trees, you should take the drive out to see them. You will not be disappointed.

I can't say enough good things about ATX. We lost a tree to the recent drought, and after…read moreresearching local options, visited their RR12 location. The gentleman we initially met at their yard gave a tour of all the trees in his golf cart, asked us several questions about what we were replacing, and what we thought we would like to replace it with. He stopped frequently to identify the different trees, provide all the pros and cons of each variety, whether they were particularly suitable for where we live, etc. We didn't feel rushed, he was exceptionally pleasant, and was happy to answer all our questions. When we decided what type of tree we wanted, we were handed a flag, picked out the exact tree we liked best, and they delivered it in a matter of days. Their crew was friendly and efficient, and for a reasonable fee, cut down and removed the dead tree. They were finished in no time, and left the yard looking better than when they arrived. They only asked for payment when the old tree was gone, the new tree was planted, staked, watered, and we were 100% satisfied with their work. I really didn't think this level of customer service existed anymore. Go see them. You won't regret it.
