We go to Trilith a few times a year, usually to eat at one of the restaurants in the area. There are cute shops, lots of options for sweet treats (bakery, gelato, specialty coffee and tea, etc.) as well as lots of options for light bites, heavy meals, group activities or fun drinks. We patronized a few businesses as we walked, but I also enjoyed these leaf dress displays on the corners (see pics). It reminded me of the art displays large cities often have were there'll be a painted animal (cow, fish, horse, etc.) on various corners. Trilith is a good location if you're looking to burn some time and take in a meal while doing it. I've never been to any of the special events in the area, but have heard good things.

The transportation vehicles are very comfortable with working air and heat, making getting around the huge studio a breeze. Every visit, I notice new buildings and areas I hadn't seen before....it really shows how massive and impressive the studio is. We drove up and a giant security guard came out of his vehicle to let us know that no pictures are allowed on weekdays and that there are no public tours offered. Good to know for anyone planning a visit. Even though access is limited, it was still interesting to see the studio grounds from the outside.

Outstanding customer service: A client of mine shot a remote segment for CNBC and I contacted the…read moreproduction manager, Allyn James, and the live shot coordinator, John Edenfield, to see if they could use a specific backdrop my client wanted. Usually, studios just let me know they'll try but can't guarantee and I cross my fingers. However, not only were Allyn and John incredibly solicitous but John even emailed me a photo during the segment of my client with his backdrop! I'm not based in Atlanta but if I were I'd be bringing them my business.

I booked a two-hour birthday photoshoot with Cranium LLC in December 2025, and the experience did…read morenot meet professional expectations. The photographer arrived more than thirty minutes late. The studio was unprepared and had not been cleaned prior to my session. Although I booked only two hours and did not request additional time, the shoot extended to nearly five hours due to excessive lighting adjustments (an issue noted in another review). This caused me to be significantly late to my birthday plans. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the delay, and when I raised the concern, the response was dismissive rather than professional. Communication was a consistent issue throughout the process. Prior to the shoot, messages went unanswered for several days. After full payment, communication again stopped for multiple days. Edited photos were delivered without acknowledgment or responses to follow-up messages. When I requested a correction to an edit that still showed a visible hole in my shirt, I did not receive a response for several days. A subsequent edit request received no response at all. The initial edited images were very dark. I did not receive lightened versions until nearly a month after the shoot. My headshots were taken against a dark background that caused my hair to blend in. Due to continued non-responsiveness, this issue was never resolved. Additional edited photos that I purchased were delivered after the stated seven-business-day deadline, with no explanation or acknowledgment of the delay. The photographer also double-booked my session. Another client arrived near the end of my shoot, and the final portion felt rushed. I did not receive all the shots I wanted for any of my styled outfits, including full-body shots that I specifically styled for and expected to receive. While some of the final edited photos turned out decent, the overall experience felt disorganized and dismissive of my time, lacking basic professional courtesy. Clients should also be aware of the following when working with Cranium LLC: * Edited photos may be delivered after the stated deadline without notice. * Communication may stop for extended periods after payment. * Only final retouched images are provided; unedited files or non-watermarked proofs are not released. * Additional photos must be purchased as retouched edits at $50 per image. * Gallery links may be deactivated once selections are made, despite the contract stating 30 days. * Full-body shots are not automatically included and should be explicitly requested in advance. Based on my experience, I recommend confirming expectations in writing regarding communication timelines, shot lists, angles, and image access. Based on this experience, I would not book with Cranium LLC again.
