First of all, since years ago, I was told by different optometrists that my Astigmatism would worsen in time eventually needing Toric contact lenses. I have been using Toric lenses for 3 years now and this place with this doctor of Asian descent used a longer eye exam technique before all the technology replaced time-consuming methods and my Astigmatism was balanced out saving me more $ in buying Toric lenses. Now, again I'm able to wear regular soft lenses which are less expensive and they offer packages that include the eye exams for glasses and contacts with their frames come out cheaper than I've spent in the past. Last time at Lens Masters I paid nearly $1,000 on 2 glass designer frames with Rx lenses aside from $150.00 for my eye exam from a Walmart optometry. Today, I spent $140.00 for my eye exam fitted for both contacts and glasses which includes a 6 mth supply of contacts in clear and an additional $20.00 if I choose color. Their designer frames were offered at 40% discount, I didn't care for their styles. If I keep my last frame, they'll charge me $40-50.00 to just update the lenses to my new Rx. All other places are charging $60-125 for the exam alone leaving me to buy my lenses through online lens express which is actually more expensive than my deal today. What I appreciated the most was that no doctor had EVER tried to save me money and made me believe I needed Toric or more expensive remedies to keep them in business when my eye sight could be balanced if an old school technique was used. I'm so grateful and would definitely recommend people with Astigmatism to try this place and see if your sight can be balanced using regular soft lenses while saving you money. By the way, as I paid, our local judge Gilbert Hinojosa dropped in for service to his frames. Other local professionals take their business there as well.

Another is huge, but packed with cheap, flimsy frames (and clerks that won't even acknowledge your presence). And then there is this store where the inventory, prices and service are just right! There is certainly something to be said about great service! Rebekah was very knowledgeable and was able to help me pick the most appropriate frame for my prescription. Their frames were stylish, yet sturdy, well-made and priced fairly. After discussing my options I settled on two pairs of progressives. This was my first time with bifocals and Rebekah was, again, just wonderful in explaining my options, providing helpful tips on how to use them, and assuring me that I could come right back in if I had any problems. She also explained the importance of precision in progressives so I was happy to see that they used digital measurement. I was so happy with my glasses that E. came here to get his prescription filled too. He had a pair of progressives that he got last year at another place and he never did get used to them so he had just set them aside. They were able to make him new lenses and now he is seeing just fine! After 5 months of blissful vision I fell asleep in my glasses and bent them beyond repair. Fortunately they said I had purchased insurance and so they replaced them for $20 with no hassle. They even had the frame in-stock so I was in and out in just a few minutes. My PCP schedule me here and I needed to wait a month and a half for my appointment. On the day of…read moremy appointment I called to confirm and over the phone. They decide to tell me that they had trouble verifying my insurance and for that reason I was scheduled for an appointment they had over a month and I have to reach out to me and get this sorted and they choose a day of my appointment to look into my insurance. Once they finally did, they basically told me my insurance was only able to cover $75 off the entire visit and the consultation itself. I was looking at over $150 and asked for the procedures they were gonna do. I was looking at paying $1500-$5000. From my understanding, I thought pain management was just to help you with prescriptions. They told me prescriptions is not what they do and that it's more of a treatment center with different medical procedures. I waited a month and a half to see these people to help get my terrible pain under control only for them to wait the day of my appointment to be told this information. If I could give these people less than a one star, I would. Terrible communication and lack of care for the patient. Absolutely do not consider going here.
